Came here on a Friday evening with a few friends. It gets a little crowded so it's a good thing we got a reservation beforehand. The atmosphere is great with top notch waitstaff, wonderful cocktails and cigars. The music is the perfect level so you can still carryon a conversation without shouting. Lots of interesting people to meet and watch.... More

If Smoke bothers you this is not the place for you. The background music is just right. It was easy to hold a conversation, even with a larger group. I will going back.

Located in the Brown Palace Hotel, downtown Denver, it is as titled, an oasis for we cigar smokers. Crowded, but comfortable. Seating is varied from bar stools to chairs at tables to lounges and sofas, all leather. Limited humidor, full bar. Food available at restaurant in hotel, which by the way, is a wonderfully restored-preserved turn of the century building.... More

Both Oscar Wilde and Winston Churchill are quoted to say something to this effect. Who am I not to follow such illustrious company! The Churchill is inside the Brown Palace Hotel (separate review) and it is fully satisfactory to my preferential tastes. A bar just to my liking: heavy wood panels on the walls, subdued light and velvet curtains, Victorian... More

Cigar bar that has a nice liquor selection. A decent beer selection. And a fairly nice cigar selection. The wait staff is knowledgeable in both drinks and cigars. I literally followed my nose here from downtown Denver. Great place for a post workday cigar and drink

The service was excellent. Even when they have only one bartender. You feel VIP while you are there. They make you feel that way.

After eating dinner in the Ship Tavern, we retired to Churchill Bar for after dinner drinks. We both love Balvenie Scotch. Imagine our surprise when we were offered not one or two options, but five. More importantly, they have 36 different single malts from which to choose.

A nice little bar with couches and tables. Our waiter brought waters and snacks right away while we checked out the whiskey list. It is a bit pricey, but there's some interesting things on the menu and worth stopping in for a drink if you are checking out the hotel anyways.

The place is popular enough to be animated 7 days a week. You don't necessarily have to stay at the Brown to be welcomed there. Like the Brown, this bar I will revisit anytime I will find myself in Denver in the future. Excellent cigar, wine and scotch menu. I eating in an old fashioned bar, full of smoke, doesn't... More
