The 16th Street Mall is pretty amazing. It is several blocks of shops and restaurants and is meant for walking. If you can't find something to buy or some awesome place to eat than I feel for you. The cops are always present, which is good, because Denver is battling (and winning) a battle with homeless people. The hip people... More

Very nicely done with free buses that go up and down. Lot of restaurants and cart food from different cuisines. Vibrant and nice activity.

16th Street Mall is the place to be in Denver. The street spans the length of downtown. There are restaurants, bars, cafes, souvenir shops, shopping and nightlife all here! There is a free bus which runs the length of the mall and you can hop on and off as you wish. This is the main shopping / entertainment precinct in... More

This was a staple for me a few years ago. The free metro ride. The clocktower cab. But the last two years it hardly feels like the same place. Between the homeless the robberies and the general vibe change. I wish I could say that this place hit home anymore. Still nice for an afternoon stroll.

What's not to like here. Lots of dining options right outside our hotel, free bus service from one end mall to the other. We really enjoyed the remodeled Union Station on the North End of the mall. We ran out of time to get to the Capitol on the south end of the mall. Lots of shops & restaurants in... More

Quite relaxed atmosphere and nice architecture, few souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants, and many brand stores. A free bus us there but better to walk on this pedestrian street.

Just all known stores under one sealing. Nothing special, just as you are used to. Repeating stores and exchangeable.

The 16th Street Mall has been important to Denver's downtown revitalization but in and of itself it's nothing too special. If you're hanging out downtown, you'll probably pass thru it but it's not worth going out of your way.

Cute little street full of shops and eateries. However not the regular shops you would want to browse around. Looks pretty at night with the trees lined with fairy lights. A good place to walk around.

There is not a lot particularly great about this street. The stores aren't unique and there is a ton of police presence because of the homeless and crime. Not a must see by any means.
