Like this drive better than Rocky Mountain National Park. Very exposed and very beautiful. Worth the quick drive.

It is a long drive. But a worthy one. Many trails and lakes. Should have spent more time there. Be careful of the wind and the storm.

No it won't be open in April it's open June and July. You can drive to echo lake it's by Idaho springs and about 30 miles outside of West Denver. The reason is there is allot snow in April and no gaurd rails on road at the... More
