- Collin E8 contributionsBest ballpark experience in Baseball. The ballpark is incredibly well cared for and absolutely beautiful. From parking a long distance away and being surprised with free shuttle service to the gate, to the atmosphere outside the stadium, the entry experience was one of the best I’ve experienced. The views from the first base side are extraordinary with the city and mountains in the distance. The stadium is incredibly accessible and has food options for all dietary needs. The staff was incredibly friendly. Exiting the stadium and walking back to the car was fantastic. We could have taken the shuttle, but we decided to experience the city. It was incredibly lively and safe.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 7 October 2023
- Viktoria HDenver, Colorado11 contributionsGood, but rude staffIt was pretty good. The food was great, and me and my family had a great time. Staff was a bit rude though. One lady kept glaring at me and was a bit rude. Otherwise , great time!Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 October 2023
- awildakanetaColorado Springs, Colorado5 contributionsLarge AtmsphereThe location is excellent, right in the middle of downtown Denver. You can travel up the 16th Street Mall by either driving, taking the rail, or riding the bus. The atmosphere is charged with excitement, and the people in attendance are kind. The food is a step up from the offerings at other stadiums that I have had the good fortune to visit. You have the option of watching the game from where you are seated or from one of the many bars that are spread out over the stadium.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 October 2023
- 2BEis2SKICharlotte, North Carolina1,307 contributionsNice tourFor the cost, this was a nice tour if you are a baseball fan. Coors Field is the 3rd oldest National League ballpark but is relatively new overall and thus lacks some of the history that you get from older ballpark tours. That being said, it is a nice ballpark, well designed and it clearly revived the area that it was built in. They let me pay for a tour in Jan but still on one in December which was very nice. Well worth $20.Visited December 2023Travelled soloWritten 31 December 2023

Like many modern MLB teams, the venue is located near the downtown hub. Concessions are good. Stadium is very easy to access (we did the RTD - local bus line). If you are in the Denver area and the Rockies are playing this would be a great visit.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 April 2024

- puppypatrolAtlanta, Georgia225 contributionsExcellent ballpark experience! We decided last minute to catch a Rockies game on a Wednesday afternoon and walked up to ticket window. Because we are (barely) of a certain age we got $1 tickets to the Rockpile.” Don’t worry they made back the revenue as sampled all of the fantastic food and drink offerings!! The staff at Coors Field are clearly well-trained as they were so courteous and helpful, ensuring a very pleasant experience - and the crowning moment was when the Rockies pummeled the Bosox!! Lots of options available for gluten-free and vegetarian food, specific booths, just need to ask staff.Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 July 2024
- ClarabellenhPembroke, New Hampshire283 contributionsNice StadiumI attended a Red Sox game with my grandson. Everyone who worked at Coors Field were so accommodating and wanting us to have a good time. We got there early and made sure we went up to the purple seats so we were a mile high! Our club level seats in section 238 were the bomb. First row, very comfortable and a/c and food/bathrooms in the area above us. Lots of Red Sox fans there which made it more fun. Nothing really spectacular about their between innings stuff. This was the only negative part.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 28 July 2024

My son and I have been to almost 20 different ball parks In both American and national league and we’ve been to 10 different stadium tours and this is by far the worst. It is a real shame because this is probably my top three ball parks that I’ve ever been to it is incredible but we learned absolutely nothing in the 30 minutes we were there before we left. It’s all about the guide and you could barely hear him he was boring and gave no interesting information and had only been doing the tours for 2 yrs and u could tell he was at a loss for information kept saying what else can I talk about. There was also some event going on for kids on the field so no dugout no locker room and no rooftop and we were told the Silver bullet roof top bar and that whole area is awesome but we’re not allowed up there so we basically couldn’t see any of the things that were highlights of the stadium we saw the press box and the VIPs which I could give two craps about I want to hear about stadium stuff that nobody else knows my son knew more about the Colorado Rockies and the stadium than the tour guide did. He’s 13 and a diehard dodger, so the fact that he knew most of the stuff already is kind of funny. The best part was I mentioned to the lady who had been doing the tour since the stadium opened that we wish we had had her and that we couldn’t hear him and she said yeah I know and gladly let us leave with really no apologies.I never write bad reviews , think this might be my first DO NOT WAIST TIME ON TOUR. My suggestion is get to the field right as it opens spend some time walking around and enjoying all it has to offer before it gets crowded and talk to some of the older people who work in there because we got great insight on the stadium and some of its history. Coors field he does not disappoint.

An actual joke!!!
We came 2000 miles, booked seven months out to have Colorado Rockies cancel a game over a minor rain storm. Zero thunder, lightning, or hail occurred on September 14, 2023 when the Colorado Rockies decided to cancel their Thursday night game due to a minor rain, three hours prior to the at 6:40pm PT start time.
Meanwhile, zero employees failed to report to Coors Field (obvious by the lack of preparation at Coors Field) for game setup and the game versus SF Giants.
As a result, a doubleheader was scheduled for Saturday 8/16/23 (because everyone should reschedule their travel plans for the Colorado Rockies).
The Colorado Rockies Box Office provided no help or assistance over this matter. Again, the Colorado Rockies expect patrons to bend to their bad calls over minor weather issues.
This was such terrible execution and a bad experience by the Colorado Rockies.
Don’t waste your time attending their games because they simply don’t care. No wonder their team’s performance is horrible amongst the MLB.
It’s a sad and disappointing occurrence chosen by the the Colorado Rockies executive staff.

We decided to take in a Rockies game on our last day (Sunday afternoon) in Colorado before flying back home that evening. We had read that parking was a bit expensive and far, so we opted for Spot Hero, which cost us only $15 and was only a few blocks from the ballpark. We arrived over an hour before the game and as such there was no line to get in, check my purse, and scan our tickets. We walked around looking at the various food options, which were very limited and tasted just average. Our seats were in the club level, which were great seats with a great view. The ballpark is expansive with lots of seating and wide concourse with lots of room to walk unlike what we're used to (narrow concourses which get really crowded).

Our tour guide was so cute and adorable. You can tell she has a real interest in passion in her job, and it just shines through in her story telling. Her name slips my mind, but I remember she had been there since the park opened 26 years ago. We saw many aspects of the park and learned some history of it, and the surounding areas. Fun fact, Blue Moon beer originated here under a different name, but the building is still there. I love this ball park and always have, but seeing it in person is really what you need to do. I definitely want to return to catch a game here someday.

I have always wanted to visit Coors Field just to see the dingers fly out of the field of play into one of the decks due to the altitude and low humidity. My son took us and our two grandsons to a game between the Rockies and the Arizona D-Backs. As an aside, the Rockies won 5 – 3 that night. In addition, we got the pleasure of seeing Wynton Bernard (aged 31) playing in his first major league baseball game after 11 seasons in the minors. The crowd was extremely supportive and applauded and cheered every time he came up to the plate or made a play in the field. It was truly a heart-warming scene and gives testament to the axiom of “keep on trying.”
The stadium was a mix of an old-fashioned stadium mixed with modern accoutrements. All the services and food and souvenir vendors were on the mezzanine level and easily accessible to the fans. This venue felt similar to recently built stadia like Citi Field in New York or the Orioles complex in Baltimore. We had a very enjoyable evening and would revisit this stadium upon our next trip to Denver.

I came in for a game from NY. I may be spoiled, but the stadium was okay, a bit dated feeling and the food choice and quality were lacking to say the least. The best part is that you can grab sweet seats for low prices. Let's Go Mets!

We attended Rockies game #157 of the season on a Tuesday night. This was the first of a three game series against the St. Louis Cardinals. The crowd was small and mostly made up of Cardinal fans. …Cards highlights: Got to see future HOFers Arenado and Goldschmidt (but they are having down years and the Cards are a .500 team). … The Rockies are stuck in a long-term rebuild. Rockies highlight: Charlie Blackmon got a couple of hits including an RBI triple. He’ll be retiring on Sunday. The Cardinals won 7-3.
Notes:
• We bought Lot B parking in advance. If the game isn’t expected to be well-attended, I’d recommend paying the day of the game. With service fees, you actually pay more ($23.50) by pre-paying than by waiting to pay until you arrive ($18). If the game is expected to be well-attended, you may want to arrive at the lot early. The website makes it sound as though there is not enough parking for large crowds, but there was plenty when we went.
• Lot B is at Park Ave and Wazee. From there, they have free parking shuttles (nice!) that will drop you off at Gate A (centerfield). It looked like they have to plenty of capacity for the pickup once there’s the rush to leave the ballpark. A bus picked us up to take us back to our car.
• You can bring food and sealed bottled drinks into the stadium, which is what we did. The food in the stadium is the expected higher than average ballpark pricing but not as obscene as Dodger Stadium. In-stadium food options looked pretty good but we didn’t try anything.
• I’d recommend walking around the stadium on field level. The Jumbotron is huge and you can look down into both bullpens from above (no fan video cameras allowed here).
• We sat at the top level in the 300s (section 325). Good to see the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop beyond left field. Row 20 seats were above us and painted purple to denote 1 mile above sea level. Don’t get row 10. (We moved.) They are somewhat obstructed by a guardrail.

Coors Field is a good place to watch a baseball game. The view from the third deck was really good and it was easy to see the whole field. The food was decent and there were a lot of choices around the stadium. The only knock here would be the super long lines between innings. Not sure why but the service seemed pretty slow. The Rockies have different banners hanging around the stadium showing past players accomplishments. It was unique to see that as they are around the whole stadium. Parking was also easy. We parked a few blocks over in the one of the many lots and the entrance back to the freeway after the game was easy to get to. Overall a good place to watch baseball and worth visiting.

Would really recommend doing a tour of Coors Field - even if, like me, you have zero knowledge of baseball. It’s right in the centre of the city, so easy to get to, & the tour offers great value for money. The ball park itself is modern, clean and has some interesting history!

There are stadium tours but we watched a game. Tickets start at around $18. We went up a category but then realized that it doesn't matter where you sit, you can probably see well from anywhere and the atmosphere is the main reason why you come here anyway, at least as a German tourist.
The gates open at different times but definitely from around two hours before the game starts and it's advisable to come early to watch the hustle and bustle.
The crowds are both exhausting and fascinating. It took us quite a while to find our block but we had time.
We strolled up and down the food courts and realized that you can spend a lot of money here. But that's the same for major events in Germany. For example, I bought myself a (at least really good) lemonade with lots of ice for $7 and my husband bought himself a large beer for $13. But you were allowed to take the Colorado Rockies mug home with you.
The view of the Rocky Mountains in the background was gigantic from our seats. That alone was worth it!
There is a lot of supporting program, especially for families. Some people even come here with babies and dogs.
Everything is kept meticulously clean, cleaning staff are out before the game even starts, great!!
The purple row is exactly at the height of a mile. We sat directly behind it. In September it was still unbelievably hot, there was a constant warm wind, but it was still super stuffy and smelled of beer and fast food in the stands!
I found a walk all the way around the field during the game particularly interesting.

I am planning a trip to Coors Field next July. Planning on booking stay on AirBnb. Was wondering what are the best areas to stay within about 10-15 miles from the ball park. Also looking to do the Coors brewery tour. I know the closer to the park, the more expensive it will be.

So I bought tix for the July 2nd game VS my Astros online. I couldn’t get parking though because it said they were sold out of parking passes!! Are there any other lots to park at nearby?? And if so, around how much would they be?? I know a Lyft to/from my hotel to Coors would only be about 26$ both ways.

As with most stadiums the closer you park the more expensive it is. Typically if you park within a block or 2 of ballfield it will run around $25. If you're willing to walk a bit you can find parking for around $10. Hope that helps.

We got tickets the same day. We sat about half way up near 3rd base. I hope they still let you bring in drinks (non alcoholic) and food. They did 2 years ago. We are headed there in July again.
Take the tour if you can. One of the players was sitting in the stands just hanging out and we got his autograph.
Enjoy!
