Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We attended the Denver Fan Expo here. The facility seems new and well cared for, but several factors colored our experience.

First, cellular phone service within the center is terrible- one would think they would install boosters. Next there is no "free" wifi, only "exhibitor wifi" for $75 / day. One would think that, either improve your cell service or offer free wifi (it's 2022 for Pete's sake).

Next, the food options were limited. For whatever reason, the typical pizza and hot dog places were closed, but then had food stands set up in the back corner which could not keep up with demand.

I just attended the Jeff Dunham show at the Bellco theater which was a great show. However, in the Bellco Theater, there were quite a few places to purchase alcohol, but only one location selling water which was advertised as bottled water for $5.50, but only had cans of water for $7.00!!
Also, only one restroom for the entire theater = very long lines!
In addition, the Colorado Convention Center parking lot accessibility from the theater is a long walk and there were only 3 working elevators to get all of the patrons back to their cars, and the stairwells were closed.

One of Denver’s famous art. The 40-foot tall Blue Bear, designed by Lawrence Argent is formally named “I See What You Mean.” The Bear can be found peering into the Colorado Convention Center.

This convention center has plenty of room to expand or contract depending on the size of the group for the conference. It is 2 blocks from the free 16th street bus, it is surrounded by hotels, the light rail goes through the building, it was light and open, and very clean and welcoming. A great place for a large convention!

I was recently a guest at the Colorado Convention Center, downtown on 14th. The facility itself is nice, well kept and convenient. Easy walking access from many places in Downtown (hotels, restaurants and attractions). The parking is a bit lacking and signage in parking garage is unclear and a bit confusing but other than that it is an excellent facility. It is clean with massive halls that can accommodate thousands of guests, vendors, participants and multiple events. The grounds have a mall style entrance in the front, and the back has a grassy area for attendees to enjoy with a view of the front range. Overall for a convention center Denver has done a great job with this facility.

I heard that a Spanish explorers named the river that ran through the area Colorado, meaning "colored red," for its muddy, red hue. It eventually became the name of the territory. It has a lot of beautiful places where you can make a incredible memories!

The Big Bear was listed as a must see. The others have taken pictures of it made me want to have a picture too. This picture is one of the most expensive pictures I have taken. Try to find parking that doesn’t cost an arm and leg. After spending $12 for parking I got my pictures of the bear. Is it a must see, no. Is it a hey look at that drive by, yes.

Beautiful modern convention center with iconic blue bear. Gorgeous views from massive 3rd floor patio overlooking the city. Facilities are clean and well maintained but it is a LONG walk through this giant building. Wear comfy shoes if attending a multi-day conference. Convention center contains a gift shop with travel essentials which is always nice.

During our first day in Denver after checking in with our hotel. We decided to make a visit with the big blue bear. It was awesome to see the convention center and this gigantic bear. Our kids loved it.

The Colorado Convention Center is located in Downtown Denver. IT very attractive and well maintained. It has over 580,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space and several food stations. The building and the bathrooms are well maintained. It is very large, so be prepared to walk. It is also conveniently located by several nice hotels and restaurants. It is about 0.8 miles from Union Station and the LODO train. Finally it has some beautiful view from the outside areas and the rooftop.
