We wouldn't recommend going on a weekend due to the crowds. However we had a wonderful day with the family and kids at this museum. The outdoor area has a giant sand mountain, play area, and activities. Inside there are lots of activities. The staff...More

You will need a whole day to do “everything” which is impossible with 3 &6yr Old’s so if you have the time plan to go twice! Outside is fantastic in good weather & would keep them busy for half a day on its own. Incredibly...More

I love the Children's Museum. From the life-sized fire truck the kids can play on, to the pretend Whole Foods Market - to blowing gigantic bubbles...it's just a great place. Avoid going on the Free Day because it's just absolutely insanely busy. Otherwise, it's definitely...More

We have been to many children's museums across the country. The fact that it was spring break certainly impacted the size of the crowds, but it was hard to get around and hard to get a turn. The firetruck was great, lots of interactive things...More

The Children's Museum was packed during Spring Break but my 3 year old nephew had a ball nonetheless. We also signed-up for and participated in a class at the Teaching Kitchen - the instructors really do a fine job guiding the little ones.

While my 9 year old will still go to the museum, it really is much more enjoyable for my 5 year-old. That being said, for that age group, it is spectacular. There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits, so on a nice day prepare for...More

The museum is a fixture in downtown Denver for families and the updating over the past few years have put it back in league with major cities like Boston and Chicago. Hands on exhibits teach kids about science in a fun, hands on way. The...More

The Museum has something that caught each family member interest. From the amazing geology and mineral and precious rocks exhibit to the space odyssey to the health expo, everyone in the family had a great time at the Museum.

We love this museum and when it's hot outside the outdoor water area is perfect for kids. This place is good for kids and adults of all ages and always has something new and fun going on to keep guests engaged.
