The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that signage is not conducive to navigating the exhibits easily. In the 'North building' a rather blase receptionist pointed vaguely at th elevator and told us that the 4 exhibits we wanted to see,...More

The museum has wonderful and wide-ranging collections, but the special shows they do are really well done - thoughtful, unique, interesting, well-presented. I always learn something new and see connections between artists and periods of art that I didn't see before the shows. Well worth...More

There was so much to see! We were there for hours and I know for a fact we didn't get to see it all. I ended up spending so much time admiring certain pieces that I had to rush through the others. Great price.

This place is two separate buildings and one spans 7 floors! They have great stuff from all over the world from all time periods. We really enjoyed the American Indian floor and also the women expressionists. There are a ton of exhibits you can interact...More

With friends who volunteer the art museum was a definite stop. Not only was the western collection more than adequate, the entire museum was extremely well done. The American Indian temporary display was superb and there was a totally fun dance presentation.

I've been a member for years and love the museum. There are two buildings with multiple floors of galleries. A fantastic place to speed the day and now in an up and coming hip area on the edge of downtown.

What a gem! I was apprehensive taking 2 toddlers there but this place is great. They have so many interactive exhibits in addition to traditional ones. Kids are free so the $10-13 adult price is reasonable. Definitely would go back

We enjoyed some of the interactive experiences and hands on activities. Good selection of art pieces.

We have gone several times to the museum and were never disappointed. It's a great place to bring out of towners. If we lived closer we would certainly join. Parking is free. I'm considering becoming a volunteer there. The volunteers all seem to like it...More

Unfortunately we only had a few hours to explore the museum, but we were very impressed with what we were able to see! In particular we enjoyed the Western art exhibits. The museum is beautifully set up, with interactive art areas for children, as well...More

Do you know if you bought tickets in advance online for the Star Wars exhibit if you would avoid the long line? Or did everyone wait in the line whether they had tickets or not? Any idea about how long the wait was to get into the exhibit? Thanks for any help!

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. We bought tickets online beforehand. We only waited 10 minutes or so. They monitor how many folks can start the exhibit at a time. Waiting wasn't an issue. Also, you are free to roam... More
