I visited here while my wife was attending a conference at the Convention Center. I was very pleasantly surprised by the eclectic nature of the collections. I particularly liked the very large Asian art sections. There were a lot of school children in the museum, who seem to be really enjoying things and the museum staff ( who were plentiful)... More

I visited the Denver Art Museum while on a business trip. I went to see the Star Wars Costume exhibit but enjoyed other exhibits there also. The gift shop is wonderful and has some very hight quality and bespoke items. Well worth a visit and an easy (and pleasant walk) from the downtown area.

This is truly a user friendly museum for adults and children alike. Exhibits have work stations that relate to the exhibit and children and adults alike enjoyed them. Children are free....a big bonus for the traveler and a great way to introduce children to art. It is impossible to see everything in one day. Choose your favorites first and see... More

This museum was the highlight of our stay in Denver and one of the top sites visited on our 21 day tour of the USA. We were quite stunned at the exhibits in the Native American Indian collection, so colourful and unlikely to be found in more than a tiny handful of other museums. The Asian art collection is great... More

Good place to spend a couple of hours in the midst of the art district. The North Building will be renovated so if you want to see the only building designed by famed Italian architect Gio Ponti in USA before it changes go soon.

Best use of your time when in Denver to visit this place, for its one-only western art as well as for international art that always impresses me with its beauty.

It's hard to be critical of the art displayed at this Museum because I'm not qualified in any sense of the word. To me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I definitely appreciate a different style of painting. Some of the painting were awesome but most of them didn't do anything for me. Would I go there... More

Daniel Libeskind buildings may be interesting, but sometimes they are not particularly practical. The art collection in Denver is, to be charitable, limited. It might have made more sense to put up a practical building and spend the savings on better art. There are a few interesting pieces, but no one is ever going to confuse this with any of... More
