I was a little disappointed that the museum did not have a more diverse collection. It's four floors (the ground floor is mostly just the ticket line and gift shop though), so I was expecting a lot more styles and themes than the museum currently...More

This art museum in the heart of downtown is a Denver jewel. The current Degas exhibit (through June--$29) is a must-see and worth the admission upgrade. Four levels showcase all types of art, including modern works. I've visited more than a dozen art museums, and...More

The Degas exhibit is great! The rest of the museum is a bit lack-luster. During my visit, there was a fashion exhibit and Ganesha exhibit highlighted. The Ganesha story is interesting. Degas, though, steals the show! Excellent pieces to explore while there.

We went to see the Degas Exhibit but also enjoyed the other exhibits in the museum. Especially loved the Stamped exhibit that showcased animals in art, the way they contrasted different styles and mediums showed the timelessness of humans' relationship with animals throughout time.

I visited just over a week ago, and from the moment I walked in, staff were very attentive and helpful. I needed to put my backpack in the lockers, but the ones on the ground level were full, so someone took me downstairs to a...More

The building itself is quite stunning, but the exhibits were okay. It will be nice when the construction and expansion is complete as this museum could and should offer so much more.

I'm not sure that I really felt the worth of the Degas exhibit. Perhaps I'm just not into Degas that much but it was very difficult to see many of the images - the lighting was very dim, they said it was done to preserve...More

Wonderfull Degas exhibit on now. Amazing Gift shop. Floor after floor of galleries and exhibits. Really worth the price of admission and the time spent visiting everything. This would be one of those must see places to go if you only have a one day...More

The museum staff were well prepared, polite and friendly. The building has amazing architecture that adds to the experience. Plenty of facilities (toilets and water fountains). Exhibitions were displayed in spacious rooms and the building features an outside deck with good city views.

We visited the museum in March of 2017 for my daughters birthday and she enjoyed it so much she requested another visit. This year was a total disappointment with most if the exhibits being unavailable. From my understanding the are currently renovating. I would wait...More

I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. We bought tickets online beforehand. We only waited 10 minutes or so. They monitor how many folks can start the exhibit at a time. Waiting wasn't an issue. Also, you are free to roam... More
