This museum is largely geared towards children. It was our first time visiting the museum, let alone Denver, and I was severely disappointed. I saw a brochure indicating exhibits pertaining to mummies and bioluminescence of the sea. The mummy exhibit was underwhelming to say the...More

The staff at this museum were so nice and the exhibits well done. We went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls, which was interesting but difficult to see anything the way it was set up.

... But the rest of the museum was fantastic! The scrolls was just ok because it was crowded and hard to see everything. It's self guiding and that was a bummer too.

This is a big place with lots to see. A few of the displays are changed regularly so there is always something new to see. There are lots of halls and small display rooms with a lot of the entrances like mine shafts or caves....More

I have been coming to this museum my whole life, as I love learning about history. I went this time mainly to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, but also the rest of the museum. The Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit itself was very well put...More

I had a horrible experience on mother’s day at the Denver Museum. They would not accept my mother’s DD214 with valid ID even though they say that they respect our military. They do not understand that many ex-military do not have military IDs, especially if...More

We hit the museum as it opened, thinking half a day should be plenty of time. Boy, were we wrong! There is just so much great stuff in this museum that you need a full day, or even two, to see and do everything. They’ve...More

I went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the Nature & Science Museum with my mom recently. She was in town visiting, and it made an excellent day trip. The pricing is a bit much, with an entrance fee and more for the...More

Attended a Financial Seminar at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. The view of downtown Denver and the Colorado Mountains was "Spectacular"! The food was cooked perfectly at the seminar and the Dead Sea Scrolls and exhibits were so educational, fun and worthwhile.

There are parking places both on the streets and within the museum area. I'm not sure about the possibility to park overnight and for this point, I would suggest to call the museum staff and ask them for suggestions.
