Our family just moved to the Denver area. The Zoo was on our top Travel site to visit. Our little boys ages 4 and 6 loved it as we did too; so much that we ended up purchasing a year pass. The zoo's animals were so wonderful that our boys got their faces painted like a cheetah and a red... More

We visited the Denver Zoo last Friday and that was our first visit in probably seven years or so. It was much better than I remembered it. There is a lot to see. We arrived after noon and it was still quite crowded even for a regular school day. Parking can be a little difficult to find. They offer a... More

Very fun zoo. We went on a cooler day and windy so not many animals outside but great to see how they also have the indoors viewing areas. I would love to return in the summer to see how it is then. Must do when in Denver take your time and enjoy there is something much to see and do... More

I love this zoo. It is spread out and great for fresh air and exercise. The exhibits are great and the staff is nice. I really liked the shows they have explaining the animals.

We had a day to explore, so we went to the Denver Zoo. Had a wonderful time. A lot of animals, fed the giraffes, and sat through the elephant show. Highly recommend; very clean and easy to find your way around the zoo.

I've been a member of the zoo for over 20 years now and am so proud and impressed by the continuing efforts to improve the lives of the animals here. From Tropical Discovery (fish and reptiles) to Primate Panorama to Predator Ridge to Elephant Passage, a terrific improvement in space, care and quality of life for these magnificent beasts, I... I'm not a big zoo fan. I'm not an animal rights activist....but I'm also not a fan of caged animals. I have to say that over the years, the Denver Zoo has done more and more to reduce the exhibits that feel like "animals in cages" and increase the realism for both the visitors and more importantly, the animals. It's... More

The kids really enjoyed it as it was a little cool so not many people when we arrived and the threat of rain emptied it out. By the time we left we almost had the place to ourselves. We hadn't been in about 3 years and the improvements they've made in the animal habitats is very nice to see. Better... More
