Visiting the Public Library was serendipity - we needed to kill some time before a tour at 1:30. What fun in this great modern space: check out the automated book return, roam the new arrivals and check out the sly grouping of book displays.

Go to the top to see the room with the round table if you like history for the meeting between different countries. It had a very nice view of Denver. Other than that the library was big but pretty standard.

If in need of a book, I would stay away and use inter loan system that is available at your neighborhood library. Why this has been allowed to become a hangout for the tired, hungry, cold, hot and ill is beyond me.

I appreciated the architecture, but was a little disappointed on the inside. It reminded me of my high school library, just bigger.

Stunning architecturally, very spacious, and so many books (of course)! I hung out here and read before my Free Denver Walks started. They also have a little store with books for sale cheaply for those long plane rides.
