Many sights and shops are worth the trip into town. Nestled along the South Platte River, biking and walking are my favorite way to get around. LoDo is very tricky traffic wise with one-way streets and heavy traffic.

Great area for travelers to shop, browse and people watch. The free mall bus can get crowded but is a lifesaver for getting from one end of the mall to the other or from union station to nearby hotels.

An interesting and fun place to visit. When we were there there was a competition for pavement artists, live music and tasty street food.

We just drove down there to look around. The art is great, the three bridges were fun to walk over and everyone was friendly.

I taught at University of Colorado Denver campus and ate at the many outstanding restaurants in the LODO area (several blocks long and two deep.) Easy to access by light rail or Uber since parking is near impossible.

So much culture to see in LoDo, great shopping, streets were safe, and great variation in bars/restaurants. The historic homes in this area are a must see if you are into that.
