The museum is interesting and very cheap to go through, it will not take you long. The displays give you an idea of early like in boom town cripple creek.

It appears you may have gone through the Cripple Creek District Museum as the Cripple Creek Heritage Center is free of charge, but we are glad you checked out other museums in the district as each has their own story to tell!

Very informative and interesting. You can learn a lot by taking about an hour to tour the building and watch the short film.

This is an information center and museum on the outskirts of Cripple Creek. It has a great view of Cripple Creek from above. It is well worth the stop.

This is the place to start a visit to Cripple Creek. Lot of displays on the history of mining in the area. Also caught the free trolly for a tour of Cripple Creek.

I didn't think people went to information centers much - but this one is certainly worth going to. It reminded me of a Visitor's Center you would find at a National Park. Three stories of historical displays about the area. Great view. Super friendly staff....More

This is a wonderful place with lots of interesting permanent displays and some changing ones. You can learn a lot about the mining district ion your visit there. Don't miss it!
