This was our second visit to the Creede theater and the acting was wonderful once again. What an experience to have in such a small town. We saw the play "Kind of Red" which was a take off on the old Lucille Ball TV show. It was a joy to watch. I recommend going to this out of the way,... More

This was wonderful!!! It was hilarious, well executed, and a close set. Tickets were $40 and the theatre was packed on a Thursday. Purchase tickets in advance if you can. The lobby is a neat mix of cobblestone and new amenities. Adult beverages, soda, candy, chocolates, etc are available for purchase. These can be brought into the theatre too. There's... More

We've been coming to Creede for the scenery and the CRT productions for years. Each year, the staff and cast improve their presentations. Varied themes, excellent productions, wonderful casts! We've been to so many plays that we feel like we know the actors and actresses as family. After the show, cast members rush outside to meet and thank you personally... More

Took 5 adults and 1 teenage boy to see Kind of Red. Great performance that had all of us (17-83) laughing til we cried. My daughter also took her little one to Reading and Other Superpowers! The kids show this year. Both mom & toddler had a blast. We look forward to next year's performance!

Creede Reportory Theater is a hidden gem in the middle of the San Juan Mountains. The productions are first class with professional actors and each play is carefully selected and reviewed. We have gone to show at CRT for 25 years and seriously have never seen a bad one. The theater is kinda a throw back to the ol western... More

We've visited Creede for the theater four times in the list six years (or so) and are surprised and delighted by the quality of the productions. World-class artists are drawn to this place for a change of pace experience and a nice credit for their resume. This means audiences have a chance to experience a small mountain mining town and... Summer theater in Creede is always a treat! Go on line to check out their schedule. If you have never visited Creede, you are missing a wonderful town that has it all. History, mountain jeeping near by, fly fishing, fun shops, and good restaurants! We have been there many times and look forward to this coming summer season!

Catching a show here would be worth a special trip to Creede even if there was nothing else to see or do in the area. High quality production and cast in a historic setting. Get you souvenir poster while you're there.
