Frisco or San Francisco. Denver or Dallas. It doesn't matter where you're from. If you've skied here, you've been raised on some of the best Colorado has to offer. For generations, people have valued a down-to-earth ski experience that puts friends, family and a relaxed mountain atmosphere above all else. It's why the Colorado front range has always considered Copper the home team, and why families from across the globe call Copper home. The place you go for a mountain experience that's refreshingly void of pretense. Wherever your home address may be, if you've skied here, you've been raised on Colorado. Welcome home.

Copper Mountain has great variety, and some of the best instructors/Ski Patrol I've ever seen! Please, do yourself a favor and ski here. I am a life-long skier, who has skied all over the US. I've been on most mountains in Colorado. Copper Mountain is the best "hill" I've encountered. They have beginner slopes on the right side of the... More

Found this place great for after skiing drinks, food and it was the same for an evening visit! Great service, reasonable priced and some dishes where large portions especially the Nachos, try the XX or Blue Mountain beer about $6 or get a pitcher for around $14

Snowboarding for first time for myself and my 10 yr old daughter. My husband had snowboarded before but not in about 8 years. We did a private lesson (it wasn't that much more expensive than getting individual lessons for all of us). A private lesson included yourself and up to 3 additional family members. You could also get a one day... More

I was recently at Copper Mountain for the first time. I took two of my children with me. The mountain is not huge but is not small. There is plenty of terrain for all levels of skiing. It does sit at about 9700 ft. of altitude so prepare for this and drink adequate levels of fluid during your entire stay.... More

This is the sixth time I've brought my family to Copper Mountain and every year I'm impressed with the efficiency of the lift and the overall atmosphere of copper mountain. Will be back next year.

Growing up in Colorado but now living in NY, I've always had a skewed view of the best skiing locations. While I've come to appreciate VT, nothing beats CO skiing. But while Vail is big and Aspen expensive, Copper provides the best option when lift tickets now approach $200/day for a family of 5. Best skiing. Not crowded. My kids... More

This was my second visit to Copper Mountain and it is definitely the best deal. We rented a condo in Frisco and used the free shuttle from Frisco to Copper Mountain. We parked and boarded the bus at the main station (behind Walmart). Note that the bus gets packed at main street so if you board after that you will... More

My family of 4 just returned from our first ski trip. My daughters (ages 13 and 10) and I took private ski lessons for a day and a half through the ski school with Beth Remington. She was a perfect teacher for all of us. Our 2nd day of lessons were in the Green Acres area which was less crowded... More

Our group loved everything about Copper Mountain! We decided to go skiing and take private lessons because for 2 of us it was our first time. The lessons did not disappoint! We had an awesome instructor Sam, he took the time to really show us how it's done! He said we were excelling about an hour ahead of where we... More
