Everything is heavily regulated, many rules. Also there’s an excessive amount of guards watching you all the time and instructing you.

It’s not a foreigner friendly place, you can get hurt because very little water in the pools, both me and my filipina got scratched in knee and elbow and i hit my hand also. The excessive security and regulation leads to big queues. Weight limit of 90kg for the rides. Height requirements also and requirements for your swimwear. The price is quite significant for entering, it’s comparable to western prices.

It can be worth a trip once if you happen to be in Angeles but as a foreigner i will try the water park in Cebu instead. I havent been to the one in Cebu yet.

Two reasons why I came back to Aqua Planet twice in 2 weeks. My kid loves water parks and the guest services staff/life guards are brilliant.

Now stuff that you lot can improve on, this is coming from a guy that has travelled all over the world 3 times and have been to Florida, USA, where there's loads of similar recreational establishments.

*The idea that you're not allowed to bring in your own food, I know that the place needs to make money but you can't allow especially if the food menu onsite is limited and overpriced indeed. Even Disneyworld in Florida allowed us to bring in our own food and drinks without any issues.

* I use to work on board a world class cruiseship and I'm all in agreement with the quote that "you get what you pay for", but please see attached image and for ₱170, indeed i didn't get what I paid for. Rip-off actually, like most of the food here unfortunately.

*Not allowed to re-enter the park after exiting in the middle of the day. What if I left something in the car that's really important? I'm gonna be out ₱1100 because of this silly rule?
*Not allowed to ride alot if attractions due to weight limits and the like, other themeparks don't have this rule. I know it's for health and safety but this ridiculous. You pride yourself can accommodate foreign guests and the like, but with this ruling, alot of guests will surely miss out, i know I did.
*No 3rd party concessionaire for food, I know the park needs make money but park needs to make sure that in house food amenities will suffice guest requirements and the like. Also the queuing and menu system shud be looked at aswell. My personal experience, i stayed in line for several minutes, under the hot sun and I have a toddler that's very moody when hungry, just to be told that I'm on the wrong queue, even though that a pizza menu was on view on said queue.
I have close relative dat use to work on the park who was part of the guest services team and was able to confirmed that these issues regarding the food amenities have been indeed a long ongoing matter that still hasn't been resolved.

I hope indeed that I will not get a copy/paste reply on this genuinely honest review. I just want to see the place thrive and grow, so that loads of people will come down to Pampanga to experience "the best waterpark in Asia" peace.

This was my first time in a water park. Overall, i really enjoyed the place. Although the place was packed even if we went on a weekday. It was super crowded and something we did not expect. There were rides which requires 4 people to be able to experience it. The staff could have been helpful if they helped assisted us in finding another pair, but they were not. Hence, we just decided not to. What a waste, right?

Moreover, i wish there were more options for people who are overweight. There was a guy who looked really disappointed with this because he could only go to 3 rides. So, if you are over 90 kilos, I would not recommend you going there.

The place was clean although some of the rides need a kittle bit of paint job, some looks dull on camera, and lastly, most of the staff were friendly.

Aqua Planet is a popular water park near Metro Manila. However, it might be challenging to reach if you’re commuting.

Pricing: The entrance fee offers good value for money. However, additional expenses for lockers, food, cabanas, and drinks can add up quickly.

Attractions: The park offers a wide range of attractions suitable for all ages. However, it can be challenging to find attractions that are comfortable for plus-size individuals.

Facilities: The changing rooms and shower facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Crowds and Atmosphere: It can get crowded on weekends, so expect some lines. However, the crowd levels are generally manageable.

Security and Service: The park has good security measures in place. The staff are approachable and helpful, enhancing the overall experience.

Despite some minor drawbacks, Aqua Planet offers a fun and enjoyable experience. We would definitely return.

Its a big water park and most importantly near Manila. We stayed a Hotel for the activities but its possible to take a P2P bus from Manila Clark and do the activities. They have 30+ rides and its well managed.

Disappointment is likely to ensue especially if you visit on a weekday.

Having visited numerous waterparks globally, I must express that this particular park, despite its potential, ranks as the least favorable I have ever encountered.

The practice of charging an entrance fee while simultaneously limiting access to half the water rides is quite unexpected and unreasonable. In my view, a modest increase in the entrance fee to cover the operational costs of the rides would be far more appreciated by everybody. The closure of rides for hour periods throughout the day is simply unacceptable. We approached several slides only to be informed that they were either closed or had restrictions based on weight, height, or age. It was particularly disconcerting to witness the staff weighing guests; a Korean couple in front of us, who appeared to weigh no more than 70 kg each, were subjected to this, just rude and not required! The rides should be suitable for all people without stopping nearly half.

While I fully acknowledge the importance of safety, the inability to accommodate riders in pairs or groups is also entirely unacceptable. Furthermore, the restrictions based on height, weight, and other criteria are excessive. It is essential for the park to modify its rides to ensure inclusivity for a broader range of their guests. Other waterparks successfully achieve this by providing various sizes of tubes for two and four people. We've recently returned from Florida where we visited some of their water parks, great fun although quite a bit more expensive.

You charge an entrance fee, give people what they expect - water slides!

On a positive note, the food we had was satisfactory, albeit somewhat overpriced, which is to be expected for a captive ordiance.

This is merely my perspective.

I recently visited Aquaplanet with high hopes, but my experience left me both disappointed and concerned. The park enforces a strict 90 kg weight limit on many rides, which severely limited what I could enjoy. As someone with years of experience managing top-tier waterparks like Wild Wadi, Legoland Water Park Dubai, and Laguna Waterpark Dubai, I find this restriction unnecessarily low compared to global standards.

For example, Wild Wadi’s Master Blaster rides allow up to 120 kg for single riders and 180 kg for doubles. Legoland Water Park Dubai accommodates up to 136 kg for individual rides and 181 kg for tandem riders. These parks handle similar attractions while ensuring safety and accessibility, so I was shocked by how quick Aquaplanet was to enforce the 90 kg rule while overlooking other, more serious safety and operational concerns.

After carefully evaluating my visit, I noticed several issues that go against industry best practices:

1. Swimwear Policies Ignored: Despite rules requiring proper swimwear, many guests were using cotton and non-swimwear in the pools and on the slides.

2. Improper Diaper Use: In the kids’ play area, I saw children wearing regular diapers instead of proper swim diapers. Regular diapers fill with water, becoming heavy and creating a health and safety hazard by introducing fecal matter into the pool.

3. Running Hazards: Adults and children were running all over the park, and not once did I see staff intervening to enforce walking rules, which are critical to preventing slips and injuries.

4. Shallow Water Blackout Risks: I observed numerous children and teens playing "breath-holding games," staying submerged for dangerously long periods. Not one lifeguard intervened or appeared to be monitoring this behavior. Shallow water blackout is a leading cause of drowning globally. International lifeguard standards require vigilance with a 10/20 or 30-second rule, yet I saw no staff addressing this risk or checking on submerged guests.

It’s clear that while the park is quick to enforce the 90 kg weight restriction, it overlooks far more critical health and safety standards. This lack of consistency not only impacts the guest experience but also raises serious concerns about visitor safety.

Aquaplanet has the potential to be a world-class destination, but significant improvements are needed to align with international waterpark standards. I urge the management to review these issues, enforce proper rules for swimwear and diapers, educate lifeguards on best practices, and prioritize guest safety above all else.

Went here on a Friday that’s connecting to Undas break so there wasn’t much of a crowd since it’s not a holiday anymore. The wave pool and another attraction was closed but it’s ok as the kids just want to try the slides. We booked a cabana with aircon so it’s comfy for those who are taking a break from the water fun and luckily it was 15% off. There is a small safe inside and a bar ref to keep your drinks cold. It’s a cashless system inside the whole park so you need to load your wristband or use a credit or debit card. You can get a refund of anything left in the wristband after. The kids had such a blast and 4 hours wasn’t enough for them but we still have quite a long drive back to Manila so we sadly had to cut it short. Next time we would definitely stay for the entire day! The only downside is that the food isn’t very good inside the park and you have very little options and as there is no other choice but to buy food and even water inside I do hope management improves on this one. Even their ice cream sucked, it was so grainy that I kept coughing as I ate it.

We had 2 small kids and 2 teens with us, everyone had a great time. We were lucky it was raining so there were not that many people. Even on a rainy day the rides were all up and running. I would advise wearing aqua socks as slippers are not allowed going into a ride. Food is more expensive than outside but not horrendously so, and of ok quality. No food or drink allowed from outside. Life vests are provided for those who need them. Life guards are numerous and alert so the big pools feel quite safe even for little kids. It might not be too pleasant if crowded though. But would recommend this place if you can come on a weekday or a day without too many people.

My wife and I had a friend visiting so we decided to try it. First ride was a slide and pretty good except you had to have 2 people so I went twice. Next was a big ride on a tube but you had to have 4 people, we were only 3. Next was a ride where you step into a tube and the floor drops and you slide down a tube, couldn't go because you coud not have any metel on your suit.

They need to post the rules and qualifications other than weight and height, waht a huge disappointment the first part of this was.

Next we went on the river that circles the resort, this was actusally the best ride of all, very relaxing. we tried the wav e pool both with and without the boogie board, ok but disappointing

NO cash accepted here, you get a wristband that you add $$ to to pay for stuff like food or other things and upon leaving you get refunded for any balance.

All in All an OK experience but no place I would go to again.
