This park is small but offers events year round, like beer-fest or craft festivals. It also is a great place to pick up the Santa Fe/Greenway trail if you're up for a hike or bike ride.

Very neat to see this park, it was just a relax day for us. We got our hammock out and walked around for a little bit, Was told in the summer time water shoots out of the statue.

Nice in the summer when the fountain is working. Nice play ground for the kids, but beware lots of bums and crack heads all over the place. If you own a gun, bring it. Protect your family.

There's always a lot of fairs/festivals going on here. Lots of live music. The big ring of art work is actually a spash pad which is perfect in the summer time! There's also a really awesome playground/park area (I'm in my adult years and this...More

This is a park, not anything special that I seen, but it would be a good place to walk around and get some exercise.

America the Beautiful Park is a great place for kids to run around, climb and play. The park is safe and clean. There is a splash pad to run around in so pack some extra clothes.

Great place to spend a hot summer day. The water sprays out of a circular structure splashing the kids. They love it! The park equipment is fun as well. Wonderful park my grandchildren beg to go to.

We had problems with the seemingly random schedule of operation of the splash pads for the kids. We were told it turned on at 11:00. We got there with the 3 kids at 10:30 and they had fun for a half hour on the playground...More

That's a good question. I know they have a specific picnic area, but did not recall viewing anyone using grills. I would check with the Colorado Springs Parks Dept., or the Visitors' Center. They are very helpful.
