Tremendously beautiful campus north of Colorado Springs. Be sure to visit the visitor's center and visit the chapel.

Plenty to see. If you aren't able to walk around can still see a lot from vehicle. Free. be sure to see film in visitor center.

No, you just show your drivers license at the north gate entry to the serviceman guarding the gate.

My husband and I will be vacationing in Colorado Springs in June and would like to tour the Academy. Are there guided tours? Do I need to get "clearance" before I arrive? How do I do that? If there are guided tours, are they handicapped accessible? As I am handicapped,.I will be using my electric scooter. Is the Academy open for tours every day? Thank you for your help!

We did not use the guided tour but others did at the visitors center. There are lots of ramps but I don't know if the guided tour is 100% wheel chair friendly. The visitors center should have more information. We are... More

If you see the church, watch the video, see the birds, walk the grounds 2-3 hours is great
