After visiting the Royal Gorge, we headed over to The Winery. The tasting room is actually a gift shop, but still interesting. Our host, Fleur (as in flower) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different wines. Many good wines as I purchased four bottles.

I'm not a wine connoisseur, so I can't talk to the quality of the spirits here. However, the catered events always serve a good variety of foods, whether you choose the beef, chicken, or fish. Vegetarian options are not as extensive, but still good.

Visited just as they opened one cold weekday November morning so did not have any trouble with crowds as previous reviewer reported. Though our server seemed tired and a little aloof, nevertheless, she was knowledgeable and efficient. Tastings were free, which is becoming rare in...More

8000.00 for dinner, 2 cases of wine, the room, double gratuity plus cash bar. Hidden fees and late bills sprung on at the last minute. Not worth it. Feels like being taken advantage of.

I didn't drink the wine but the grounds were kept well and it looked like a fun place. They have wine tasting and sales.

We enjoyed working our way through the wine samples, and bought some wine. The grapes are not grown here. The gift shop was very nice.

My husband and I stopped here on our second stop across Colorado trip to sample a few wines to travel with us. We enjoy sweet wine so we chose the Vineyard Sunset and the Apple. We traveled with a cooler so when we stopped for...More

Enjoyed the tasting room with pleasant staff. Tasting was free except for premium wines ($1.00 each). Tasted most of the wines there; we purchased a Merlot and a Port. They source their grapes from other areas. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would probably return;...More

We went here for a wine tasting while visiting Cañon City. We had a rather quick tasting but found a couple of wines we really liked and purchased them. The highlight of our visit was the actual shop. We like to go wine tasting whenever...More
