They have the Old gas chamber. The have writeups of Men that were gas to death. There are two Jail cells, yo can see how small they are.

A lot of information, photos, props and actual pieces retained from prisons. Audio guide is available. The museum is a former state women's prison and it borders with the Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility. Have a look inside of a gas chamber actually used on prisoners!

The grandkids were thrilled with getting their pictures taken behind bars. We were humorously told to 'enjoy doing time here' by the receptionist. Both the grounds and inside all the cells, which had displays, were informative. The basement and the kitchen were interesting too.

This museum is in the old women’s prison. It is very interesting and informative. It shows how life was like in the prison and what the inmates did and how they lived. It’s a unique place. I would recommend it.
