Pretty views of the city but not if you have a problem with heights. It was very hot that day so we didn't do any of the hikes but there were a few hiking trails.

Drive this historic one-way, inmate-built road to get a great view of Canon City and the surrounding area. This side excursion doesn't take much time and is worth the short drive. Make sure the brakes on your vehicle are in good, working order! If you...More

Even though the road is narrow, still a very cool piece of local history and once on top some great views

A wonderful ten minute detour with a great view and a thrill of driving on the razors edge. And real 109 million year old foot prints.

If your not scared of heights drive it yourself. Great views of Canon City and southern slope of Pikes Peak.

Very pretty drive, beware the road is one way starting just outside of town and ending in Canon City. Road is narrow with NO guard rails and not for anything larger than a pickup truck or small van.

Drive this it is great!! We had driven this scenic road once and then royal gorge rafting and ziplining told us about it and we did it again.

Just outside of Canon City on the way to Royal Gorge. A must see one way ride....although the driver won't/shouldn't see much except for the road straight ahead. You might overtake bicyclists or hikers, so be careful.

This review is about Skyline Drive in Canon City, Colorado, not South Carolina. The former is about 3mi long. No clue about SC's.
