A narrow, one way road that is not suitable for RV's or over-size vehicles and that offers three miles of thrills.

We visited this on a whim at the suggestion of our rafting guide who mentioned it as we drove by. We hadn't heard of it before. We had kids along so when our guide mentioned something about dinosaur tracks and artifacts, the kids were sold....More

The drive was a little scary at times. Plenty of places to stop and look. It is worth the trip up and it does not take very long.

Fun little drive to do if you are out exploring and it's free. Doesn't take long. There are trails there too.

The road is just wider than most vehicles and offers a spectacular view. There is a spot where you stop and see a dinosaur foot print after parking in a pull of spot. The drive can scare some people because of the road width, height,...More

Fun, short drive along a ridge just west of Canon City. Plenty of pull off spots if you're driving, but hiking it may be your preference if you are uncomfortable with steep edges.

I hope you aren't scared of heights. This is a great drive and an overlook of the Canon. Get out of the car at each section and walk around if you aren't scared of heights. Just drive slow and you will be fine. It is...More

Definitely worth the few minutes it takes to go out of your way to experience the thrill, but watch out for pedestrians who choose to walk/run on this road for exercise...there is barely enough room for cars and there is certainly no shoulder to move...More

This review is about Skyline Drive in Canon City, Colorado, not South Carolina. The former is about 3mi long. No clue about SC's.

I would not try it. There's a tight turn at the end that takes you back (down) in the opposite direction. In addition, wind can be an issue with a high-profile vehicle. It's not windy everyday, but this is the Front Range of... More
