For our trip to Colorado we decided that relaxing in the Hot Springs would be a great place to go, we weren't wrong. Bought day passes and spent the morning and then came back for an evening soak (No kids after 8). Don't know anything about the rooms.

Two of the five pools weren't operating, but they still charged $18 for a visit. Visually tacky. The vibe in the pools was unwelcoming and depressing. Although some of the other people there seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Natural hot springs with lots of different pools with varied temperatures. Went in the fall, but would love to go back in the winter with the snow falling. Worth checking out!

Been here before when I was younger but this time got to stay in a cabin. Let's just say it was an awesome experience. Before we checked in we went skiing at monarch and I hadn't skied in years before then. I've done Breckinridge loveland, vail and just recently copperhead. Anyways it was an awesome experience.

One of our party had heard of these hot springs from another traveller and we decided to give them a try. We visited in the early evening and watched the sunset from the hot water pools with a number of other ageing hippies or 'Baby Boomers'. There are a number of hot pools with water of different temperatures to suit... More

This hot spring is rustic, with large stone pools of differing temperatures. They range from 104 down to about 94 degrees. The pools are very comfortable with several levels of seating. The water is not salty like it is in Glenwood Springs but has a variety of minerals in it. I would have given it five stars, but it uses... More

We stayed for 1 night and that was enough. Where to start…….the rooms are sorely in need of an update. The outside of the buildings need maintenance. The hot springs pools really need to be worked over, badly. It looks like the owners have taken every dime they have made and put it someplace other than here. The free buffet... More

If you are looking for a place to swim, get rowdy, get into a stream, picnic with your loud and boisterous kids, this is not the place. If you are looking to unplug, soak, unwind, be calm, then you may have found the place. It is rustic, and simple. Still, there are five different pools to soak in (different temps),... More

We were heading home after a trip that included an outside music festival in Trinidad, a lovely drive through the mountains next to the Spanish Peaks, and a few afternoon hours at the Great Sand Dunes National Monument and Preserve and headed towards Buena Vista. We passed several hot springs locations, but wanted to try the Cottonwood Hot Springs, after... More
