This locally owned Mom and Pop operation was a delightful experience. An injured member of our party stayed inside and enjoyed live accordion music and later the blowing of a Swiss mountain horn. The rest of us cross-country skied. Rentals are $23 for adults $10...More

On the positive, CC Instructor was great, overall location cannot be better, great views and well marked trails. Most of the staff appear friendly, helpful and knowledgeable too. On the negative, cashier initially didn't charge us the right amount for our lesson and while struggling...More

My wife and I visited Breck recently, but decided to skip the skiing this time around. We decided on showshoeing instead and came across BNC. We reserved two spots on a snowshoeing tour and, while very basic, it was a good experience. The people there...More

I took a cross country ski lesson from Olivia this afternoon. Payment and equipment rental/ fitting were a breeze. I was in a “group” lesson but with only two other students, a wonderful couple from the U.K. All three of us were beginners, with a...More

The snowcat tour is 90-120 minutes and a ton of fun. Our guide, Sarah, told us all about the local flora and fauna (especially moose and beavers). Gene (one of the owners), our driver, made sure to stop so we could take pictures. I loved...More

We visited Breckenridge Nordic to try snowshoeing. The lodge alone is worth a visit, and if you’re lucky, owner and resident accordionist Gene will be there. He told us all about how the lodge was built, and about the adaptive recreation program he started in...More

Beautiful grounds. Gary is terrific x-country ski instructor. I felt ready to do it on my own after the lesson. Dennis led a lovely snowshoe walk. Again, I felt ready to do it on my own. Great, friendly, helpful staff.

Bring your own snow boots. The snowshoes just fit right over any boot. BNC provides all other equipment. I also recommend a snowcat tour.

The trail pass costs $20 per adult and equipment rental costs $22. Seniors over 60, get a discount of $5 off the pass and $ 5 off the equipment, ie a $10 saving.
