A great way to enjoy flowers, buy iris plants, let children see farm animals, look at some old farm equipment and generally be in the out of doors in the spring time. But the big draw is the irises. They are spectacular.

Really enjoyed looking at all the different iris plants. The same family has owned this garden for over 100 years. The colors, height and blooming schedule are so various. Never knew all this existed. You can buy at the Garden, dig yourself or order and have them delivered. They also have a catalog on line. Goat dairy farm is there,... More

This is an attraction that has been around for a long long time. The people that run the gardens are very hard working and dedicated to developing the Iris into many many healthy, hardy, flowering plants, BUT you might drive right past it. It about 1.5 North of Pearl St. on Broadway St. You can walk, drive or take the... More

I decided the perfect souvenir for me to take home from Colorado was some of these gorgeous Iris. They were having a "dig your own" day and we thoroughly enjoyed doing so. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. These will remind me of beautiful Colorado every time I look out my window and see them at home!

Do go by the iris farm while the iris are blooming for a real visual treat. Last time we went we drove through the grounds and was several deer grazing amid the flowers.

This is the place to go to see your potential new iris in bloom, to dig it yourself ( you can only buy after the blooming period) and then take home to your own garden. The owners are there to give any advice you might need and they absolutely have the best selection.

If your garden needs a little color in the spring, then Long's Iris Gardens is the place for you! We buy a few new iris there every year. You dig them up yourself ($4). All are hybrids grown there, so the colors aren't available ANYWHERE else! Long's Iris Gardens have been there over 100 years. This is why Boulder has... More
