Very enjoyable place for hikers. Very scenic and a great place to enjoy with family and friends. I do not recommend for families with young children but if you are tge outdoors type then this should be on your bucket list.

I love Boulder. lots of short ( or long ) hikes, biking and parks like this one. Great people on the trails, just doing the Boulder fitness thing, many with fun to meet dogs.

The Boulder Flatirons are beautiful and offer a great backdrop for town. But they offer more than views. From technical rock climbing to gentle paths it offers something for everyone.

I moved to Boulder and now I practically have The Flatirons Range in my backyard. I love looking at the scenery and breathing in the fresh mountain air and showing it off to visitors. It gives me that Rocky Mountain that High John Denver sings...More

This park will take your breath away with a number of fantastic trails. Weekends tend to be very busy, so if you can start early in the day you won't feel overwhelmed with fellow hikers. Wear good shoes, bring water, enjoy the views!!

If you don't try to get into or near the Flatirons when in Boulder, you haven't really been there. There are many ways to get near, from easy strolls to challenging trails. Don't miss it.

Tons of good trails. Walked to the Royal Arch - further than expected and tough at times with the altitude. Amazing views the reward. Make sure you pick up a free map from the Ranger station so you know the trail routes and distances.

Very nice spot to hike, its not too strenuous, the views are great, boulder is a beautiful town. The area is so pretty and worth a visit, the 16th street mall is wonderful. Totally enjoy coffee and a meal.

I entered the Flatirons through Chautauqua park. Beautiful views from the meadows. Great hiking. Not too crowded for a fall weekend. Plenty of times I had a real wilderness experience on a day hike.

We were there much later than April when the weather was very warm and all the walks were available. Looking at the answers from other contributors it could be a problem or you may strike lucky. Sorry can't be helpful.
