Great place to visit and the free guided tour is a must, staff are very informative and the hills behind and the walks are spectacular.

This free museum in a beautiful location, is great to educate us all on the reality of climate change and the urgency to save our planet. Make sure to watch the video about the Lyons flood. We need to respect nature. Good for all ages....More

The free Museum is filled with weather related exhibits. The building itself is a work of art, designed by I.M. Pei and made famous in the Woody Allen film "Sleeper." At the information desk they give out maps of the hiking trails. the trail begins...More

Excellent exhibits, and free. Great for kids. Building by I.M.Pei is starkly beautiful. Good hiking from this spot.

Great educational and fun hands on center. We came on a Sunday so there was not the opportunity for the 12 noon lecture (Monday-Friday only), but the exhibits are mostly self explanatory with fun games and information.

Especially if you are visiting: Visit NCAR first! The views and architecuture beat the Getty (near LA) and offer an unmatched perspective of all of Boulder; with views of Denver and Longmont. You can't miss it!
