Very nice tour that shows the history of the company and goes through the processing plant to see and learn how their teas are made. The mint leaf storage room is a favorite, where the smell of peppermint and spearmint (maybe wintergreen, too; can't recall) is delightfully overwhelming. There is also a tea sampling room where numerous teas can be... More

The Celestial Tea Factory tour is a cute trip to make if you have time in Boulder. The tour lasts 45min. and it's free, although the tour takes place at certain times only. You also get plenty of tea samples, including some lesser known flavors. The tour takes you inside the factory and shows how tea leaves are picked, prepared,... More

Sip, rest, relax, and repeat. If you’re visiting the Denver area and need a little self-care time away from the busy city scape, than take a nice cruise into the countryside of Boulder to Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory. You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and a petite tasting cup for you to taste test any of their unique flavors... More

The tour lasts 45 minutes and is free. It was really good. The smells of the factory are amazing. No pictures are allowed. They let you sample a few teas.

We started at the cafe and enjoyed a delicious, simple lunch and then went to wait for our tour. As you wait, they have several varieties of tea that you are free to sample and savor and snippets of history on the walls that you can read about the company. The tour was friendly, super interesting and well paced. It... More

We have not visited them in over 20 years and wow has it changed. Lots of improvements and a very nice cafe that's perfect for lunch. Lots of teas to sample and the 45 minute tour is very informative. One of the best parts of the tour, is that it's free and they give you a tea packet as your... More

The opportunity to taste delicious teas before taking a tour, the wonderful smell of the peppermint room, and fascinating packaging machinery make the tour engaging every time I take out of town guests. Celestial Seasonings is a unique Colorado institution, perfect for locals and tourists alike! Make sure to check out the discount bin of boxed teas for extra special... More

A friend mentioned that I should take a tour while in Boulder. I'm glad that I did. Before the tour, you can sample some of the teas that they have made that day. The tour starts with a 9 minute video about the origins of tea. You then don a hair net and walk through the actual packaging factory. The... More

I visited Celestial Seasonings tea factory. Including the short movie, this free group tour took about 45 minutes, ending up, of course, in the gift shop! There were at least 30 people in group. Loved being in the highly scented peppermint room. Interesting to find out that American hops were one of the ingredients of tea--not just for making beer!... More
