Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

This is a nice area to stroll through for an hour or so. There were some people on the sidewalks bothering people about taking a survey.

We went to Boulder for lunch and to walk around a little. The Pearl St area had a wide variety of shops. It was great for window shopping. We bought a neat hat, looked at used books, and even found some new shoes. I needed more time to explore. The area reminded me a lot of the Burlington VT Church... More

Had fun just wandering up and down one afternoon. Has shops of all kinds - touristy things, local art, great restaurants and bars. Totally worth a stop for a couple hours to poke your nose in and out of stores.

We didn't have to pay for parking because went on a Sunday, but a lot of the shops closed earlier. Nice place to shop and people watch. It's closed off to motorized vehicles.

We always make sure we have time to stroll the Pearl Street mall and the several blocks just off of the mall area, at both ends of the mall. Enjoy people watching, listening to the street musicians and browsing in the shops and gallery's.

Not a bad a little strip with street attractions such as musicians, magicians and artists. A good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. It's quite family friendly and a good place to stroll leisurely. There is NO smoking, skateboarding or bikes on Pearl St. and service dogs ONLY! The police WILL stop and ask for a service dog permit and... More
