Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

I wish there were a "good" option. On the outer edges of the mall it's great - unique, local(ish), sometimes quirky shops. Restaurants down at the other end. In the middle though - might as well be in a suburban shipping mall - Lush, Free...More

Pearl Street Mall was a fun ‘girls’ day out’ while the guys skied nearby Eldora Resort. Fun shops, yummy food options and ample opportunity for people watching. City parking garages were free for the weekend which was a bonus!

Pearl Street Mall is the heart of Boulder. The people watching is the best in the world, the shops are refreshingly non-traditional and the restaurants are world-class.

There are restaurants, bars, shops and stores all along this brick walkway where the street traffic is only on foot... no cars. I would think it would be really nice on a warm day or night. A good way to see a part of Boulder,...More

There are some cool shops, but nothing out of the ordinary. There are however a lot of hacky sack players and the walkways are always filled with people. Really it is just like any other pedestrian only mall.

It’s very nice there. There are a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from. I was there on the off season so there weren’t a ton of people around.

A great gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. There is a great variety of restaurants, coffee and tea places, street performers and shops of all kinds. It is especially beautiful in the evening during the Christmas season when their lights are displayed.

I consider PSM good for people watching, but not much else. Some of the stores are worth a stop if you are there, and the street performers are a good show.

What is to rate here? This is the hub of downtown Boulder with food, drink, shops, and people. Street performers and buskers are always around, on the weekends in winter and everyday in the summer. Summer is a season of festivals and nearly every weekend...More

My favorite shop was the Alpaca Connection. There are so many shops that you should plan to spend most of the day just strolling form store to store.

If you are talking about in the Pearl Street Mall, I’m not sure - I don’t live on the West Coast, so I have very limited knowledge about the mall, other than it’s enjoyable-ness!
