Spent 90 minutes on social history tour of convent run by a volunteer. Interesting would be an understatement. One of the best and most informative tours I have ever done and believe me I have been on many. Strongly recommend for sense of Melbourne early history.

Everything about this cafe was excellent. The cafe is located in a former convent with charming grounds and a beautiful old stone building -an inviting venue for a Cafe. We made an early morning stop, and basically had ( excellent) coffee, pastries and cakes- all very tasty. The lunch selections also looked delicious, but we were too early for that.... More

Beautiful chapel and immaculate gardens. Many great photo opportunities were had. The courtyard and reception room were like walking into another era. Food was Devine.

This is a retreat from the busy-ness. Beautiful gardens and eclectic crowds create a wonderful atmosphere. A variety of eating outlets to try and also an artisan bakery. Have previously attended an event here and venue spaces are available. A nice stroll about on a sunny day.

We visited here for breakfast, it is an old convent which has been converted with several different types of eateries available, our breakfast was very good and plenty of choice, cooked and uncooked. Lovely place to wander around

So much to see here. A variety of eating places. Upstairs in one boulding alternate medicine practices. Much history preserved in all the buildings which now are used for the arts

this complex has a great cafe, bakery, artists in residence and you can also wonder round the complex at certain times and see some of the old pictures etc of it when it was still used as a convent.

I love to eat my meal sitting on the lawns behind the main convent building. The grounds are a gorgeous place to wander and they link up to the Collingwood Children's Farm and to the walking and...
