One of my favorite places on earth. We love to paddleboard from various locations, and enjoyed hanging at my friend's campsite last summer so we didn't have to "fight" for beach space. Ruedi is truly a mountain treasure.

The 15 mile drive from downtown Basalt to this reservoir follows the Frying Pan River through red sandstone cliffs terminating at a White River National Forest facility. The lake is very scenic as was the drive.
