Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine...

Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine country. Originally built in 1904 as a private residence, the manor is one of three stone buildings in Yountville, and one of only two listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As an art, design and wine gallery set amidst a contemporary, landscaped sculpture garden, Ma(i)sonry offers guests a respite and a retreat. Guests have a variety of choices for their wine tasting setting. They can enjoy the intimacy of one of our three private tasting rooms, lounge in either of the great rooms, or gather outdoors at individual and communal tables, around the fire pit, or while stretched out on a blanket on the lawn. The outdoor gardens are beautifully landscaped around architectural remnants and contemporary sculpture and are available for our clients to relax and enjoy a bite or a bottle of wine on their own before or after their tasting.

I treated my friends to a catered lunch and wine flight in the olive grove. Wow. The foodie box lunch was delicious and perfect for a hot day. The wine flight was interesting and diverse and JoAnna did an amazing job leading us through the experience. Thank you for the special tastings and incredible birthday lunch. Walking through the gallery... More

We ended a couple of languid days in Napa at Ma(i)sonry after several recommendations and were delighted that we did. The gallery garden setting (Aerena Galleries and Gardens) was delightful and we enjoyed tasting labels we otherwise wouldn't have had exposure to. There was no hard sales pitch and we ended up ordering a half case for shipment to New... More

We made Maisonry our one stop on our first day in Napa. Having flown in from the East coast and driven from SF, we were not up for a lot more travel. Maisonry represents and features many small wineries so you can experience many styles and varietals in one place. Our "guide" presented a phenomenal selection of whites and reds,... More

Please seek Maisonry out and make a reservation. We tried to drop in without one, but it was too packed. It is worth the trouble to schedule a time and devote a few hours. Johanna is a dream and really understands what even a novice wine-drinker is trying to communicate. She was charming and engaged us in great conversation, but... More

We did a wine tasting here. They present you with a list of about 100 different wines and supposedly you can select the four that you want to taste. It is a scam. Because they will substitute other wines for the ones you selected. The ones they substitutes are the cheap ones.

Came here to learn more about wine in general and get educated on the differences. We had a great time tasting, learning and experiencing the different types of wine!

We are lucky enough to live here in the Yountville. Ma(I)sonry is a must stop every time we have visitors and take a walk through town. The art is very interesting and some of it quite whimsical of which I am a particular fan. You are more than welcome there whether interested in wine tasting or not.

We had a superb time with our host, Joanna, who took us through a very wide variety of wines. If your objective is to come to Napa and sample several great wines, this is probably the best way to do it. Highly recommended!

If you visit Napa, you have to stop by Ma(i)sonry, I love it because of the wine selections they have. Unlike other tasting rooms in the valley, here they feature about 2 dozen different wineries including Pahlmeyer and Tor and they let you put together your own flight to taste, so you can really compare the offerings to see what...
