The winemaker, Tom Rodriques, is a California boy who dabbled in the arts before he became so successful in the wine biz. The tasting room garden is stunning with wisteria and lush plants. I am a Cowboy Red fan. Last year I was all about his Pinot noirs, prior to that the Zin was my favorite. 12 of us were... More

What a wonderful gem. Greeted by the wine maker and owner Tom. He was such a personality and made our experience delightful. The wines were top notch with lovely bouquets and bold and aged flavors that would please all palates. A don't miss stop.

It's a long-ish drive up a narrow road off of Hwy 128 but don't be discouraged. It's worth it! The tasting room is small and quiet. We were there on a Monday afternoon, and we were the only people besides the host. The room is full of art by Tom Rodrigues, and they have a catalog of all the wine... More

We stopped on a whim and we did not regret it! Tom, the owner regaled us with some great stories about art (he is the talented designer of the labels) baseball (he has seen and known many of the greats) and of course, the delicious wine. We has one of our favorite afternoons of our vacation here, and I look... More

We were on our way to stay in Mendocino. I knew I wanted to stop at a couple of wineries along the way and we had the fixin's for lunch. I think we stopped here because the sign intrigued us as we rounded the bend. Talk about laid back, we were greeted by the tasting room manager (and jack-of-all-trades), Houston... More

Tom was great, charming, and a brilliant wine maker. We joined the wine club and can not wait for our first shipment. Buster and Posey were very sweet and the overall experience made a great day. It was well worth the trek up the mountain.

We decided to make the drive to Maple Creek WInery as my wife had met some of their people at this Spring's SF Vintners Market. Driving Hwy 128 from Cloverdale was an eye on the road experience, although my wife saw some beautiful sites. After we turned off the road and began driving up the side of the hill to... More
