Fun Night Despite a Terrible Headline Comedian
My friends and I wanted to check out the Comedy Store, so we bought tickets, which I thought were very reasonably priced. I quickly realized they make money on the 2-drink minimum, so it evens out to be what you would pay for comedy stand-up. We saw 8 comedians, of which 5 were good, 2 were not so good, and one famous comedian that was easily the worst of the night. Overall, I still enjoyed it and would still recommend visitors seeing it once.

Iconic spot to visit while in L.A
An iconic place for any comedy fan to visit while in L.A! I think this club beats the Improv but they're both great. Really cool set up inside and the comedians are hilarious. You'll often get big names coming to perform, usually totally unexpectedly. We saw the roast master Jeff Ross and he was hilarious as usual. Would definitely return on my next visit. 🎭

    Stand up on the spot
I went to see “stand up on the spot” in the belly room. that particular stage has a more intimate feel to it - you really get to be up close to the comedians. it was absolutely hilarious and a fun way for the audience to participate in the stand up.

If your a fan of any of the popular Podcast's then you know this is the mecca for comedy. Did a solo road trip down from BC, found a great hotel right at the start of Hollywood Blvd's Walk of Fame and less than 2 miles from the Store. Saw Bobby Lee, Liza Treyger, Ryan Sickler, Rogan, Allie Wong, Adam Ray, a very drunk Tiffany Haddish and more!! lol. Tickets are cheap considering the level of talent. Looking forward to going back soon!! The area is super busy and confusing if your not used to big city traffic...worked best to leave the car at the hotel and use Uber

I went to the Comedy Store Saturday May 21st. The website said all headliner acts. I went for the Original room after reading reviews. I thought it sounded like the best option with the room size being more intimate. Tickets were $100 for 2, then adding at least 2 drinks per person, you’re talking $160.
For that I would expect quality! However, this was not the case. It was awful. Only one was any way entertaining. The rest were poor to say the least. Looking at people beside me (one being asleep), they feeling was the same. Also, I know maybe air conditioning is necessary because of Covid but down the back was freezing. A few laughs might have been a distraction from the cold. So overall, hugely disappointing. I felt I was totally ripped off. Get your act together.

The comedy store is an institution in LA. Most major comedians have played the comedy store at some time in their careers. Most of the comedians you will never see again, but there is a slim chance that you will see a future star. We saw a late show - there was a parade of comedians. Some were great, others not so much. It is worth checking out - 8/10

It’s an institution and who knows you may just get to see the next big act! Very busy when we went on Tuesday night, we queued for about 20 mins despite having tickets, main room is a good size in that it’s not too big yet enough people that you are not worrying you will be picked on. Drink service was a little slow though prices about average for a late night venue. We had a good night, pleased we did it.

The place sucks. Staff is rude, unfunny, overweight and the whole place smells like a sewer. They fail at even basic customer service. Let alone comedy. On a Friday night? Worst “comedy,” club ever. I know funny and these people ain’t funny. Clearly, this place is run by sadistic “non-smart” people. I am disputing every charge here. Every charge. Ever since mama Mitzi Shore died, this place has gone way downhill. Rude, man. Rude.

We had an absolute blast here at the Comedy Store. I've wanted to go to the Comedy Store for so long and we're so happy we're finally in LA and could check it out. The comics were so funny and the atmosphere is so sick. Will definitely be back next time we're in LA.

We were there for almost 3 hours which was too long. The server disappeared and we couldn't find her to get our check and leave after 2 hours. We kept looking around in the back and when we saw her we asked but she was either confused or out of it as she mixed up our cards and others at our table. 2-drink minimum but she never came up to get a second drink order.

The comics were hit or miss. 2 of the 3 hosts seemed extremely drunk. The microphone and speakers were very loud and blaring when they raised their voices. Jokes and routines were nothing special - quality is way below what you see on TV.
