Very fine sand, whale spouting right off shore. Rock formations to climb up and watch waves break as sun sets.

The parking was certainly not the best here. The water was interesting as the tide changed, because of the river attached. We thought there were lots of "tricky" waves! lol

Locals are out in flip flops and shorts I'm in a sweatshirt and long pants and shoes. Large wide Sandy beach. Don't leave valuables in your car.

The Thanksgiving feast was great, the only problem no leftovers the next day!!! It was very busy as you can imagine, but the service was very good and the food hot.

This beach is lovely, lively, and kid friendly. Lots of people on the gorgeous beach, including families/kids and their pets. We spent the entire day here and I learned the hard way that you can still burn to a crisp with cool fog present lol....More
