we found this farm via online search. we drove there after our Hearst castle visit. a little hard to find. inside a young man helped us out with a free olive oil tasting. overall we tasted around 8 oils and some balsamic vinegar. all very good. we bought 2 oils and some vinegar to take home back east. stop by... This is well worth the effort to find it, a little off the beaten track. They had many olive oils to sample. The owner asked what I was going to do and made suggestions about which ones I might like. Some one had given me a bottle of their Olive oil bath product- excellant! She also sells local goats milk... More

Yves and Clothilde, the owners and makers of these fine products are super knowledgeable and will lead you through the tasting of the many varieties and they make. This is a must stop if you are in the area! Lots of different olive oils to try and to experiment with. The host is very informative, kind and patient. Beautiful farm full of trees. Seemed like Italy or France countryside. Very nice owners. Wonderful products. Alternative to wine tasting.

The olive oils are only one part of a delightful visit. The extremely friendly owners and the mobile automated olive crushing system are the other reasons to visit Olea Farms. We enjoyed the oils so much that we joined their Club. The oils do not disappoint!
