Old Town Temecula offers a variety of restaurants, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, shopping, day and night activities, and just strolling. Throughout the year, special events are held with a favorite: the Grape Drop on New Year's Eve. New York has it's ball drop, Temecula has its cluster of grapes with music and entertainment. Summer time brings Hot Summer Nights... More

We were wine tasting in Temecula for the weekend and wandered up and down the Old Town Temecula for a few hours. Be aware that part of the sidewalk are rustic boards, uneven payment that is period appropriate for the Old Town look. However, in strappy sandals worn with the intent of sitting at a winery, it was slow going... More

This was not necessarily our intended destination. A walk around the town, however, was both interesting and informative. Met a number of individuals from nearby areas as well as from around the world. Definitely worth a stop and look see. As there were a number of activities that we did not get a chance to participate in or view such... More

We went through several small stores, had some Sno-Cones at Happy, had a few beers at a bar to quench our thirst.

I cannot believe that I have lived here for over 35 years and not visited this wonderful community before! We will be back and often. Lovely feel to it, yes it is tourist appealing but it is so much more. Locals are kind and approachable and all the shop owners we visited were pretty great! We took our grown sons... More

We enjoyed our little stroll around Old Town Temecula. There were a lot of cute shops, and restaurants. We were, however, a little disturbed by the people. Many of the shop owners weren't particularly friendly -- barely said hello when you came in. I also encountered three teenagers smoking weed in the public restrooms, a crazy guy who was annoying... There is so much happening here throughout the year. You can wine taste multiple locations because everything is so close together. There is also a fun olive oil tasting too and they have fabulous products!!! If you are looking for an afternoon stroll and want to look in some shops this is the place to do it. There are so... Old Town Temecula has undergone a modern face lift! Once a mere whistlestop beween Riverside and Escondido, it's now a major tourist attraction. Old Town boasts a 1800's museum, top restaurants, specialty food shops, a great antique mall, (yes, a Starbucks!) and periodic events like a twice a year rod run, music festivals, a winter skating rink, and a new... We walked, shopped and had lunch. Lots of great choices for food. I wasn't too impressed with the shopping. There seemed to be a lot of second hand, trinket shops. Maybe we didn't walk far enough. It is a beautiful area.
