We were referred to this winery and weren't disappointed. Their Syrah was exceptional and Amy (who poured) was most helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit when visiting the area!

We researched small family-run wineries for our tasting and are glad we found this one. One of the furthest from downtown Temecula, seek it out if you like good reds, a nice patio overlooking vineyards to enjoy a picnic lunch, and friendly staff. We went back twice!

My friends and I went out to Chaplin for the afternoon and had a great time! We each bought a tasting ($15) and enjoyed the wines. We brought food and picnicked for a while. It was so much a gorgeous place and we had a great time. I will definitely go back, especially since it's not the super duper crowded... More

At the recommendation of our luncheon server, we visited Chaplin Winery to taste their red wines. We sat outside on the deck with a nice view of the hillside and vineyards. The tasting was somewhat expensive; $15.00 for 5 wines or $20.00 for 7 wines. If you taste their Reserve wines, they count for two wines. We tasted four of... More

If you love red wine in a very relaxed setting this is the place. You can either be served inside at the bar or they will come to your table to serve you. Chapin has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. They are known for their reds but do have very nice whites too!

Nice homestead conversion for tasting, dining and purchasing. It's a quaint and pleasant vineyard with very nice decor and ambiance. Pours were on the smaller scale of the dozen places visited.

We were greeted as we walked into the tasting room and given the option to taste at the tasting bar or outside, seated at our own table, on the covered patio. We opted to taste outside. The lady who poured our samples could not have been nicer. Unfortunately, we didn't care for the wines but we had a relaxing time... More

Not your typical Temecula large wine tasting venue. Chapin has a more intimate atmosphere and offers great wines. It's farther down the road but worth the extra miles.

Expensive but delicious wine tasting. The lead man behind the bar - Leroy I think was his name - is a hoot and extremely knowledgable about this family's vineyard and winery. They have a large assortment of wines - reds, roses, whites, sweet, dry, sparkling, etc. They all struck me as expertly made. $15 gets you a tasting for 5... More
