This was our first time ever on horses. We had a mix up with another company and I had to book this a day before which is usually not possible with horseback riding in this area. Ironically, it was also one of the most inexpensive companies. I must say that the gal who helped me book it was so nice... More

We chose the 11:00 am ride. Not a smart choice as it was HOT. Check-in is disorganized and chaotic. The trailer is messy and hot and you will be asked to complete 2 forms and disclose insurance coverage. This adventure is simply a horseback ride around the vineyards. The guides are sweet and nice but do not expect to learn... More

We wanted to do the wine country horseback riding but it was our last day and we ran out of time. what I can say is that we went to the location were you would start your ride from (Wilson Creek) we stopped and saw the horses as they were loading them up for the day. We noticed that the... More

Was a bit nervous going solo but it was a spectacular spring day. My horse was clean and healthy which is something lacking at some other vacation horse tours I've been on. This one I did was basically riding at a slow pace w a group. The guide was experienced. I don't think horse tours are the place to learn... More

If you have never (or it's been years)ridden a horse than this is a great activity for you....the horse's are amiable in general & they mostly walk the whole time-there is a guide up front & behind to ensure things keep moving & you don't have any problems...the scenery is lovely & they have someone taking professional photos of you... Very ordinary and dusty. Not too bad if you want to get away for the day from Los Angeles. I would not spend more than that here. Lots of dust and the heat is really desert like, kind of like Las Vegas. I would recommend spending an extra hour of driving time and visiting the central valley to wine taste.... More

We had a great time horseback riding behind the Wilson Winery property. The guides were great and our guide Brett was very helpful in giving tips on how to maneuver your horse so that you will have an enjoyable time. The beautiful scenery and great horses made the occasion enjoyable. I liked the attention that was provided by the guides.... More

Wonderful experience if you ride horses or are a novice. Some prior knowledge is helpful though. Prepare for getting very dusty if it's a dry time of year and more so if you are towards end of line of riders. Guides were very interesting and scenery amazing through the hills of vineyards and orchards. Definitely grab a grapefruit and eat... More
