Went to Doffo Winery in Temecula with some friends who picked out the winery, to do some wine tasting, went with the misto tasting $28 and ordered a cheese and meat box, the blue cheese was so amazing we wanted more but unfortunately it is pre packed so what you get is what you get.. I definitely recommend the cheese and meat box , it probably called a charcuterie… but lets face it who can say it ! Cute Winery and lots of out doors space and a cute area with the Vintage Motorcycles, and they had live music on the day we went, I think on a Sunday afternoon. Didn’t buy any wine , I really didn’t find one to my liking. Overall once is enough for this San Diegan.

While staying in Temecula, I wanted to find somewhere to watch the Assen GP. Top of the search was the Doffo Winery! If you are into bikes, MotoGP and find yourself in the area, this is the place to visit.

All the races were shown (not live) on big screen, 9-11 on race day. Enjoy the racing with bike/race fans. There was a coffee stand, burrito bar and you can of course try the wine. There is a good collection of motorcycles and memorabilia to look at.

You cab also sign up for the regular tour of the winery.

My husband and I visited Doffo on our trip to Temecula. They offer a large selection of wines with several types of tastings to choose. I chose the Reserve Tasting.
I was not disappointed. Each wine that was offered was excellent. Mike was our host and he explained everything about each wine. We also got the charcuterie plate which paired perfectly with the wine tasting.
We purchased several bottles of wine. If you like big bold Cabs then Doffo is for you.If I had to chose my 2 favorites that would be the Malbec & Don Armando.
They also have an outstanding collection of motorbikes.
Can’t wait to go back the next time we are in town.

Heard great things about Doffo, and it didn't disappoint. We tasted in barrel room filled top to bottom with vintage vespas and motorcycles. There are actually quite a few spots to taste at this winery and lovely views out toward the valley. Our server really knew his stuff...we learned much from him about the history of the winery and the wines. It is always appreciated when the staff at the winery have a thorough understanding of the wine and wine process. We had the red flight and I have to say I enjoyed all six of the pours. We wound up purchasing several bottles. If we lived nearby, I think I would join the wine club here.

The only thing missing was having something to cleanse the palate...like some bread nibbles, crackers....even water. Other than that, I was a great experience.

My favorite Vineyard in Temecula. My friend had never been to Temecula, so I decided to take her. So much fun! I used to race motocross, so this was exciting for me to share with her. Rose,
Salo and Susan, thank you for making our visit special.
I WOULD RECOMMEND

Buy yourself a bottle of 2 Buck Chuck from Trader Joe's, and save your money. Doffo wines do not taste much better.

$48 is the price for 6 tastes of 1 ounce each. Not worth it. Other wineries have red wines, too. The other area wineries were far more reasonable. One charged $35 for 6 tasted of 2 ounces each was a better deal. Our entire group of six felt it was a total rip off. The winery itself is pretty but the tables where you sit to sip wine do not have a view. They do have a nice motorcycle collection. And, one of the plus points of the winery was the staff was super nice and super friendly and not at all offended as people saw the price tag for tastings and left. We won’t be back.

It’s rare for me to post a negative review, but with all of the options, take this one off your list. Not only was it the most expensive tastings I’ve had, it was the worst in customer service and interaction with the wines. The sever gave no useful description of the difference between the the flights and assumed that you knew that a “reserve” tasting equated to their “Library” wines on the bottle list. I know you can spend some time to decipher this, but when asked they looked like I had 10 heads. Lastly, the section with the vintage motorcycles was closed so I asked the staff if I I could take some photos. They said, no problem, just walk or with your wine and do so. When I walked over they were setting up for an event and nicely asked if I could just snap a couple of photos. I was told to get out and treated like a trespasser. If you like nonchalant, shocking or arrogant treatment then this is the place for you.

First of all -- they no longer allow outside food! As others have noted, the tasting would have been expensive if we hadn't gotten a SIP passport -- I was rather shocked that they were charging in the upper $50's for a tasting for two. I like the format that they use -- two glasses, and an array of small beakers for the different wines, but you buy a fixed roster of wines. The server was very friendly and knew something about the wines. The wines were a mixed bag however, especially for the prices they are charging. I understand the high prices a bit as the small "boutique" producers have high costs. I though it strange that they no longer make a regular Cab, only a Reserve Cab (with price to match). I wonder if that is what they have to do to stay afloat and keep the valley from becoming yet another Southern California subdivision. Also the motorcycle collection was closed for a private event, though they let us take a quick look.

The tasting was very expensive. Only Reds. The wine was very good but too expensive to buy a bottle.
