For us, this location is pretty much the end of our Old Town Front Street walk (about a mile in distance) and the lovely park is a relaxing depature from the intense shopping and eating environment that defines much of Old Town. There is a...More

Historic aspect of Old Town. Nice park area and memories of a time long gone. I hear they feed the homeless on weekends here.

This is near a quaint church with beautiful gardens and the historical museum in Old Town. They Passed This Way monument makes you stop and think of those who framed the local history. I just read other reviews that mentioned homeless people hanging around. We...More

Sam Hicks Monument Park has always been a nice spot for a little quiet and a chance for kids to play. Now it seems to be undergoing a renovation and it will be fun to see how it gets even better.

The community leadership needs to do a better job of steering the homeless population to a place where they can get food and shelter away from the public grounds. You literally cannot take a picture of the monument or walk on the sidewalk without encountering...More

Sam Hicks Monument Park is just outside of the Temecula Museum in old town. There is a small playground for kids and a pavilion where people can sit in the shade. The monument itself is interesting, it explains a bit about Sam Hicks and the...More
