Kudos ! To the City and all the Folks working hard over the years to make Tahoe City Commons Beach anything but common. Great Place to Visit the Lake up close and personal with lots of Fun, too!

We enjoyed a lot to spend one morning at Common Beach in Tahoe City - we liked better than King’s Beach. Beautiful to walk around.

Summers are awesome in Tahoe City! Music on the beach, movies on the beach. Only thing is would love if dogs were allowed, they aren't. Play area for kids is great.

We go to commons beach several times during the summer for the free concerts on the beach. Check the schedule for the groups that are playing, some are quite famous, some local. It’s probably one of the most beautiful venues in the world for music....More

I’ve never had a problem with it, I supposed if you were rowdy, there might be a problem. In the summer on Sundays there are free concerts, they sell beer and we bring wine.
