Skied for four hours on Sunday 23 April,2017. Great consolidated snow. groomer skiing only, but well groomed and fast. The runs are fast and smooth, especially before noon and the sun softens them up to much. Staff was friendly and in good spirits.

Had a good day of skiing with two friends. Snow stayed good until 2 p.m. then got slushy. Will have to say that they were unprepared for Easter break, the food options were slim and not very appetizing. There was also only 1 cashier working which made for long lines which in turn made your food get cold.

We enjoyed the skiing at Alpine, but everything else was definitely sub-par. When you pay $124 for a ticket, you expect a good food and beverage experience and clean restrooms. This was not the case on our visit today. At noontime, there was only one food station available, and even at that, you couldn't get a hamburger! I wound up... More

I've been skiing Alpine Meadows since my first time on skis in 1982. It has some of the finest skiing at the lake. No matter where I've skied at Lake Tahoe, or any other place in the U.S. be it WA, CA,UT,CO,WY,NH or NC I've never found anything better. Though Lake Tahoe doesn't get a lot of powder you can't... Excellent ski area. Never hardly ever disappoints. The terrain is widely varied and offers something for every level skier. And bonus is the views from lakeside chair. Stunning!

This is a terrific ski area, which is now combined with Squaw Valley. There is a mellow vibe to this place, and it is very Family friendly. The local mountain opens up any number of outstanding ski runs off the Summit and Scott chairlifts. And at the end of the day, it's fun to kick back & relax on the... More

Alpine Meadows is a fun place - lots of different levels of terrain, fast chair lifts, lines that move quickly at busy times, terrain parks, and friendly staff. The lodge provides good but VERY EXPENSIVE food! Great views of Lake Tahoe from the top!

My husband is a snowboarder and loves it. I'm trying to learn to ski and it's only been my second attempt. I took a lesson and the instructors were very good and very patient. I loved this smaller resort. We went to Squaw Valley the next day, but it was more crowded and not ideal for me the beginner, yet,... More

We came up after one of the larger snowstorms in January, and the skiing was fabulous. Of course we have come up here for many years in all kinds of snow conditions. So it was really a treat to get to ski in the snow conditions were excellent. All the Lifes and runs for open and the staff was just... More

I have had an Alpine/Squaw pass for 18 years running. My favorite runs would be the Sisters, Arts Knob, and High Traverse. You have to work a little more to get to places, less chair access, but that keeps the lazy ones away.
