The hike to Eagle Falls is an easy 1/2 mile, with a clearly marked trail, some elevation gain, and some rocky steps. The falls are visible at a bit of distance on the trail and from above at the falls themselves. If you continue to...More

Short hike to the falls. Nice overlook area near the falls that affords great views of Emerald Bay. Heavily traveled and limited parking, so arrive early.

Superb this summer season due to the incredible water in Tahoe. Hike, and surrounds is really beautiful. Options for length and difficulty of hike so it makes it a great alternative for all levels of hikers

A must see stop on the way to Emerald Bay. We blazed our own trail back up, that was fun, but there are clear and easy paths to take.

But, get there before 9 AM. We got the last parking spot at 8:55 AM on a Monday in summer. When we left, cars were lining the highway for a mile in each direction. Anyway, the hike was wonderful with many cascades in route to...More

Yes! We just went this past weekend. We definitely recommend getting there early as parking fills up fast.
