What a surprise!

We thought this might be the place where they make that cheap wine found on the East Coast. No, this wine doesn't make it past the Mississippi. A HIDDEN SUPRISE! This wine will... read more

We have been wine club members here since last summer, and I have to say we were EXTREMELY disappointed with our recent visit/tasting this past weekend. The wines were HORRIBLE -- I mean UNDRINKABLE, "where's the dump bucket?" swill. Keep in mind, we have been 3 times over the past month. (Usually we don't frequent wineries so much, but we... More

My wife and I visited this winery a few months ago. We were part of a group on a full-day wine tour with Platypus Tours. This winery is a family run winery with a wonderful back-story. They had a good selection of red wine and a few white, including a “bubbly”. We enjoyed a tasting, but did not purchase any... More

This lovely family winery has a rich story and history. The wines were fabulous and we got to enjoy a picnic lunch on their back patio as part of our wine tasting tour. The staff was very knowledgeable and we could tell they were very proud of the rich heritage and stories.

Our group was sent to the patio...it was a warm day, the patio was enclosed by plastic, and it was just too steamy to enjoy the wine. The winery has a fascinating story and our server was quite pleasant...it might very well have been a nice visit if we had been indoors.

There were several groups there when we arrived. We were also part of an arranged group. I have been to wine tasting rooms at vineyards so I have something to compare with this experience. We were rushed and the most time spent with use was explaining how to buy into their wine club. No water or crackers offered between wines.... More

Loved the experience. It was everyone's first time going to a winery. The hostess was super nice and patient with us. We learned a lot and were inspired by the family's story. I would love to bring my son when he's of drinking age. Can we talk about the habanero aged Monterey Jack cheese? Soo good! It went well with... More

We were in a large group of wine tasters and they easily accommodated us and were very hospitable. Although most of the wines weren't to my liking (they had several oaked wines and I don't care for oaked), their hospitality as well as their family story is phenomenal. They also have local cheeses, salami and crackers available for sale The... More

Must try the fancier (for lack of a better word) wine tasting menu. There is a fee, but they do allow you to swap/share if you are willing to try both menus. The white port and 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, were my favorites. The tasting room is simple and not very big. We had the whole room to ourselves,... More

What a great story of a Real American Dream!! Please research the history of this winery when you go. The owner actually worked the land as a migrant worker, bought land, later founded the winery and now the rest of his family runs this winery with true pride! The wine is exceptional, although I have yet to taste all their... More
