We had a wonderful tour of the winery and given the history of the original owner. The "museum" was strange with a hard to follow video. The wines were good but it was strange with a large tasting of the chardonnay and tiny tasting of...More

Walking up the road, you are met with the history of the region and sense of the passion of the winemakers. The tasting was very good and our server even opened a bottle of a old vintage cab that was delightful. Save time to walk...More

We had a large group out for a day of wine tasting, and Buena Vista was one of our stops. I wish we'd allocated more time than we did for this one! First of all, the grounds are gorgeous both inside and out. Our guide,...More

So looking forward to visiting Buena Vista because it was the first winery in Sonoma, but VIC'S lack of respect towards us, two women, was unacceptable. I was in a walking boot due to a stress fracture in my foot and my friend had to...More

As faithful Raymond members, we thought we'd try Buena Vista on our next trip to Sonoma/Napa. What a surprise! JCB continues to raise the bar. What history! What fun! What wines! Highly suggest booking the Historical tour and a Bubbles lounge experience. Note: I converted...More

You can do a tasting or buy a bottle and relax here. I would bring my own picnic rather than purchase there.

We did. The Count was great. There were eight of us and we all enjoyed this a lot. We plan to take friends next month so they, too, may enjoy this fun, informative experience.
