A great place to sit on the deck, sip excellent champagne overlooking a gorgeous vinyard and valley. If you local their wine clubs allow you unlimited visits. A great summer afternoon activity.

Off on another adventure, my wife and I decide to trek to Sonoma for the first time to experience more of what the valley has to offer for amazing wineries. Today we were treated to much more than a wine tasting.... Our one short day in Sonoma was spent at the Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards. We were fortunate enough... More

Although the scenery was nice it didn't make up for the "pushy" server. This is the only tasting we did during our week that repeatedly pushed buying product. We had made our reservation b/c we were going to be close and had great expectations about the wines. We all drink sparkling wines regularly and these was not impressive and the... More

The wine from this Vineyard was above average at best. Had the sampler but just wasn't great for a wine enthusiast. The visit is worth it if you want to walk around the facility as that is a beautiful area.

What a disappointment. Very good wine, very expensive wine, very! The staff were robots. Pushing people through with canned speeches and very direct attempts to sell as much as possible as fast as possible, and hustle us back out the door. I really thought this would be a great stop, nope. We won't be back. We had just come from... More

As others have mentioned, the view from the patio is beautiful. We experienced rather disappointing service on a recent visit. The wine educator, first initial J, was not welcoming and seemed flummoxed most of the time. We had planned to hang out for a while but the experienced coupled with the fact that we didn't enjoy several of the wines... More

This is a beautiful setting, the kind you think of for Sonoma. The wine tasting was generous and completely enjoyable from the deck overlooking the fields. Staff was very helpful explaining each wine served. Was a very enjoyable visit and as we are not experts in wine they staff made it well worth the trip

We've been to Gloria Ferrer many times in the past, but will not be going back again. They were very snooty and unapologetic. We wanted to order a bottle of champagne to drink in the tasting room which you used to be able to do, but if you are not a member, you can only buy bottles to go. I... More

The views from the patio were lovely, but one of the servers refused to let our group sit at the edge of the patio which was very disappointing. Overall the wines were great and our server was friendly but I was so disappointed at the behavior of the first staff that we dealt with.

We're in CA for Thanksgiving and stopped by this morning for a tasting. Between the 5 of us we tasted everything they had and enjoyed it all. They have clever coasters that describe the wines and what to pair them with. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the weather was perfect. Great views of the valley and lots of... More
