This was our first stop on our Sonoma and Napa Valley wine tour. Beautiful scenery and nice talk - too much emphasis on organic growing and not watering when it was clear that everything was sprinklered! The tasting outside was excellent but when we moved...More

Our visit to Nicholson Ranch with Platypus Wine Tour was the best of our entire trip to Sonoma! The sommelier, Jon Smith, showed us around the property, led us through the vineyards, and the wine caves. Jon spent plenty of time explaining their wine-making process...More

This is a small boutique winery recommended by our hotel. We loved learning about the different soil compositions in the area, dry farming, and how climate impacts grape growth. Learning about wine storage was also informative. Each wine tasted was delicious; crisp and clear, earthy,...More

The grounds of the property are stunning. The staff truly love the wine business. The offer a tasting for any budget. We stopped for a quick tasting and it exceeded my expectations! Wish I had more time to spend here.

THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC! Our guide Debbie took us through the Vinyard and taught me more about the grape growing process than I could imagine. Very smart woman I highly recommend this vinyard!!!

Solid wines, nice cave tour, friendly staff and great grounds. A worthwhile stop. Plan to spend at least 1-1.5 hours here due to the length of the tour!

The scenery at this vineyard is PERFECT. It was a dream!! I could of spent the whole day just sitting there and taking it in. They are known for their chardonnay which I am not a huge fan of, but still enjoyed my visit here....More

I used to come here a few times per year to wine taste then buy bottle of wine to drink while picnicking at their tables. This time the manager said they will no longer sell you a bottle of wine. You have to pay 40...More

I wish we had more time at this hidden gem! From the moment we got there we knew it was going to be great wine. It was a smaller winery than most in the region but was honestly the best out of the three we...More
