Nice little walk to see the caves. Great idea someone had! Also neat that the town owner did not charge rent for them....think miners retirement home! If you park near the highway and walk up the lane, you can also meander through the cemetery, to...More

There are five or six cave homes along this stretch of canyon wall. And tried to look inside as best as I could. To look back in time when this was a means of a place of someone once lived. such resilience to come accustom...More

This was really interesting stuff. Walked around and looked in all the doors to the various caves, and the little graveyard too. Worth your time to check it out if in the area!

If you are traveling in the area this a good spot to stop and take a 30 minute walk around to see the rooms some miners dug out of the soft cliffs next to Shoshone Calif. The entrances have locked doors and wire on the...More

It is not something I would make a special trip to see, but if you are passing through Shoshone it is worth taking 15 minutes to stretch your legs and walk around. I found the area to be clean, free of trash and graffiti, and...More

Since this is a free site, it is definitely worth the price. There are no signs and the woman in the gas station was not much help. But facing the front of the post office, if you drive or walk to the left of the...More

An opportunity to visit an old miners camp! I am glad I didn't live there, but was an interesting insight into what the living conditions were for the miners of the area. Have visited several geology type camps and this is very well preserved in...More

I have been to many rock dwelling structures in the area, either on the way to Pahrump or towards Baker. Finally got a chance to saunter over to Dublin Gulch and get a look see of it. There is a sign that reads: "During the...More

This is such a small town that I'm not sure if it would show up on any of the weather apps. You can try looking up Tecopa or Shoshone CA, the two closest towns. But it is desert and in Las Vegas today it's 87°. Hope that... More
