Dublin Gulch, Shoshone, CA 92384 The caves are closed to the public, but are good for a photo shoot. This is private land and therefore you are a guest, so please respect the property and do not add trash to the site. The Shoshone museum...More

It is not something I would make a special trip to see, but if you are passing through Shoshone it is worth taking 15 minutes to stretch your legs and walk around. I found the area to be clean, free of trash and graffiti, and...More

Since this is a free site, it is definitely worth the price. There are no signs and the woman in the gas station was not much help. But facing the front of the post office, if you drive or walk to the left of the...More

An opportunity to visit an old miners camp! I am glad I didn't live there, but was an interesting insight into what the living conditions were for the miners of the area. Have visited several geology type camps and this is very well preserved in...More

This is great to visit after having visited the local museum. Many of the early miners in the area lived in these man made "caves" to help alleviate the extreme summer temperatures of this Death Valley region and to stayed warmer during the winter. The...More

Dublin Gulch is just north of the intersection of highways 127 and 178; easy to miss even in a town as small as Shoshone and in a completely different location that shown on the tripadvisor website. There isn't a lot to see especially since most...More

What an interesting spot. You can walk around the homes built right into the mountains. We snuck into a few, but some are open for you to enjoy. Also make sure you go around back and you can climb up on the roofs

Taking a small hike down Dublin Gulch to see all the abodes that the first white settlers of the area carved into the surrounding cliffs is worthwhile. It makes you think, it's not like there was a large forest nearby to build houses out of....More

Within the town of Shoshone, in back of the post office, across the street from The Crowbar Cafe & Saloon, you'll discover "The White Trail". The White Trail is a three mile "Birding Trail" circle into the hills above the town and runs right through...More

This is such a small town that I'm not sure if it would show up on any of the weather apps. You can try looking up Tecopa or Shoshone CA, the two closest towns. But it is desert and in Las Vegas today it's 87°. Hope that... More
