Wine quality is high across the wide range of both white and red wines produced. Although we enjoy Zaca Mesa red wines, we find their white wines better fit our need for both dinner and summer deck white wines. So, (like previous visits), we bought...More

We like our wines, but wine tasting in itself at a winery is not our every day thing. So we were pleased to have a very low threshold entry at the Zaca Mesa, with friendly staff, a nice option of wines and just a good...More

Of the 13 wineries that participated in the Foxen Canyon tasting pass this was one of our favorites. Beautiful facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff, good wines and they appear to go the extra mile with live music and the likes

My husband and I originally visited Zaca Mesa in 1986. We have moved out of the LA area, so our visits are less frequent, but we remain wine club members! Our absolute favorite winery in the area, and back in 1986 was one of the...More

Great place to spend a quiet afternoon tasting wines. ZM is one of the oldest vineyards in the Santa Barbara region. They specialize in Rhone Varietals and do a great job of explaining their history and processes. We were part of a group tour so...More

The ladies there were very nice and welcoming. The tasting room was large and open. The wines were very good, I enjoyed the Z three the most.

Tasting at the winery was nice. However, I bought 4 bottles of wine and was still charged the tasting fee. 2 of the bottles were more expensive than any on the list. I really like the wine here but the policy that only you have...More

This was our first stop on a day of wine tasting. The tasting room is spacious, and the patio is large, with lots of picnic tables and an oversized chess set! They offered two different tasting menus, one which gave an overview of all their...More
